Am I the only one who attracts "seat kickers" in the theatre?

The seat kickers seem to make a beeline to sit right behind me in the theatre. It feels like I'm riding a mechanical rodeo bull, and if it's not that, I get the incessant coughing in the back of my hair. Do these things happen to you? I need relief!

I should say that no one can avoid to meet those things, including you and me. No matter in the theatre or the cinema, even in the classroom or the school refectory. To me,meeting with "sick kickers" in the classroom and refectory is the worst things , which means that I'll have a inefficacious class and a hungry kyte for a whole afternoon!!!
"sick kickers" always make me morosity, but I am not brave enough to reprimand them. So the only choice for me is to change my site. But the bad thing is that, sometimes the only rest seat is at the end of the room!!!!

Hi hryleo, This always seems to be the case. I find that I cannot concentrate, and I feel my blood pressure rise until I can get out of this situation. I don't like to confront people either, because I am a big chicken, lol. I suppose I could bring something that does not smell very nice with me to keep them away, but then I'd have to smell it too. Thank you for your comment.

Maybe you're not the one.Personally, I attract those who are drunk and whisper in my ear.Sometimes they comment on movie scenes and pretend to be cinema experts.I change my seat if possible,if not, then I ask them politely to shut their mouths.

Hi silvercoin, I was thinking maybe we should bring along some Limburger cheese (or something equally smelly) in a ziploc bag, and then when these windbags start going off, we can open the bag and give them something to really yap about, lol. I'm very tempted to. Thank you for stopping by.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
It doesn't matter whether i go to the theatre, the cinema or anywhere! I just seem to notice that people whom make alot of noise / rustling of food etc, as well as seat kicking (that has to be the worst one..) ALWAYS sit behind me.
I truly understand your frustration. Sometimes i just want to stand up and shout at them haha.
