Allergic To Mosquito Bite Anyone?

Most people (there are a few out there that aren't bothered by them for some unknown reason; something in the blood, or..?) get bit by mosquitos, which then in turn creates an itchy bump on the skin. Mosquitos really seem to love my smell and/or blood, or what-have-you because when I'm bit it'll take days for the bump to go away and I have to be careful not to scratch too much or infection can occur. Well, most of my friends here know that I am a volunteer BzzAgent. On occasion I get to try out (and keep) new products that are coming out in the market. I then will tell my friends, family, etc. about the product as well as pass our conversations back to the BzzAgency. I give my honest opinion; whether I liked it or not, etc. Recently I received two new products that have just come out in the store; the OFF Clip-On Mosquitp Repellent and the OFF PowerPad Lamp. I have to honestly tell you that they both work so well it's quite unbelievable to me. I usually have to rub lotion or moist repellent wipes on mine and my son's arms and legs before we go outside. I started using the Clip-On when I go on my daily walk and the mosquitos stay away. Usually when I arrive home from a walk my arms and back, neck and legs are all eaten-up. When I wear the Clip-On I have to bites. It's amazing. The Power Pad works the same way, except you can sit outdoors on the deck and have it near you on a table; you're protected from the nasty creatures as well. I'd like to know what you all think, or if any have tried these products. Does anyone else have overly bad reactions to mosquitos like I do?

I have thought about trying the clip on. I am glad to hear you liked it. I do not have a lot of problems from the bites, but I still do not want to get bitten Just because I do not swell up does not mean I cannot catch something that the mosquitoes carry. I hate putting repellant all over my skin. I think that all the vitamins I take helps repel them, and I have found that a hand held sprayer of generic Listerine original is helpful, but the clip on sounds like a life saver.

Wow...Gert, I didn't know that Listerine worked as well. I will have to try it as well. I am so allergic to mosquitos that a bite will stay swollen to up to a few weeks and it drives me crazy. Thanks for the tip and responding to my discussion again.
