Female mylotters get more responses..

Hi Harsh! I am not sure but how do you know that it's a female?? It could well be a male having those posters! The fact that myLot has more women then men gets them to a benefit of getting more responses. But what you have said might be correct. Posters attract first time, second time, even third time but after that it has to prove its worth. Happy myLotting![u][/u]

I do look at the questioni first, and decide whether or not to respond. Once I decide to, I look at whose discussion it belongs to (not that it would make a difference), and that's when I would notice the name and picture. Truthfully, I do get turned off by scarey looking pictures, and very eerie profile names. It doesn't usually change my mind about responding, however, I would feel alot more cheerful doing so, when the name and picture is welcoming to me. In your case, i don't know if this picture is of you or some rock star, or where you got your name, but both to me are scarey, and I felt a little hesitant about responding. Sorry, if I hurt your feelings...but maybe something more attractive would get you more responses.

I think my wife would disagree with you, her discussions don't always get a lot of responses no matter what avatar she uses. I get more responses than she does. Maybe it is because all my avatars are of high heeled shoes

LOL this is funny. I kind of agree in a sense.. That there are a lot of pervs on myLot. Another thing is that girls with "seductive" avatars also get three times as many friends. Unfortunately, they're usually NOT sincere friends but just pervs who want to send them messages and oggle at their pictures. It's annoying, actually. So there might be a few advantages of being a girl with a cute avatar, but there are MANY disadvantages. AKA being harassed and constantly having to worry about whose friend request you're accepting. And man..Who would ask a question like that? lol. I LOVE SPOONS!! (just kidding.. lol)

That's not true.. I am a girl and I hardly ever get a lot of responses!! probably because my topics don't relate a lot to girls I suppose.. but that sounds very silly asking someone if they like a spoon!! So far for me the worst thing I ever saw on my lot was somebody getting a best response for saying "hi how are you, hope you had a good day, nice topic"! and that was all they wrote!!! Man, I was so furious that even though the discussion was off some interest, but i didn't respond to it because it really was just plain annoying!!

Hi, i am woman, i don t have a seductive avatar, because i want let people to know me not for how i look , just for what i know, what life experience i have, and maybe if i know how i must communicate with people. I am sure that woman and man are egual here, and are a lot of man who are very popular, with great ideas, with a great life experience, and i respect all. And let us to be honest, i saw so many silly questions and answers, and behind this discussion is a man.... No, i think that is not a difference in what make a woman or a man here in Mylot. All try to do what they can and know. Here we are just Mylot members.

Maybe they just really like spoons, lol. I have not really noticed that happening, but then again my avatar isn't very seductive. Maybe this explains my lack of responses to my posts. You should change your avatar for a week and see what happens, could be interesting.

You said why, because a womn started it. Men figure if they respond maybe they'll make a female friend. I myself don't respond to something just because a woman started it. These kind of topics are why I find it hard to be on here and make any money because there isn't nearly as many good topics to respond to as there use to be.

i don't think so.There are many more posts which are published by male peoples and got more that 100 responces.it depend upon the quality and the matter in the post.till now i not about this matter but i really say it is not u think.

This is very coomon on mylot! Everyone seems to post dumb discussions and get tons of responses! I stay away from them because they can be so stupid! We will also finf sometimes when yourself of someone else posts a very intelligent discussions you get none or few responses! I don't understand that at all! It can make a person frustrated! I can't froget all the repeat discussions either! That happens when Mylot's gets alot of new members! Mylot is a great place! I like it ever with it's craziness!

Harsh- I can't say that being female has anything to do with it. I'm a female and not every one of my threads gets that many responses. I think it has to do more with the fact that sometimes people like to blow off steam on Mylot, and silly threads are a way to do that. Namaste-Anora

lolzzzzzzz. man this can be true sometimes.......maybe its just that girl factor which makes them feel that they should response......they feel if they give some great recommendation on spoons........they could be friends.......and yes the avatars can be deceiving as well.........i agree no one resists a discussion started by a female and specially if it has a nice avatar as you rightly say........but still it depends......i have seen lots of elderly people here on mylot who give such great responses based on their experience so it wont really bother these people...... Nice discussion........

I dont care about female and women, that is the same thing. I will make friend with all member of mylot everyone. The best of mylot is every one want to share about any knowledge, that is what I want. Frienship is better than all of thing in the world. With friends in mylot I am never be alone and make happy everytime.

Whatever happened to no such thing as a stupid question. I just look for discussions that are interesting and I don't even look at the person's profile to see if they're sexy or not. If I want to answer the question I will, if not then I move on. Perhaps some people are bored and just throw in a simple question to see what the reaction will be. I don't see any harm in it.

Must check that out. I didn't know that the fair ladies get better response but that is normal thing even in real life. The opposite gender are attracted to sexy ladies and that goes to mylot too, but again I see that mylot is controlled mostly by women and naturally the women support their own species.

maybe guys see the picture of the girl, and they're like "OH HEY, let me go see what this discussion is about. Maybe I'll reply, then friend her, then she can show me that beautiful body...mmm!" In reality, I've never noticed the difference among the avatars. I have noticed that stupid discussions get a lot of stupid responses, just because they're very easy to reply to, and don't take any thought at all.

Hi harshrosicky, I think the fact is that there are more women members active here and thats why you see them answering each others discussions. probably that is the reason . But honestly I answer only those discussions that interest me and sometimes I have obligations to answer someone who has taken part in my discussion topics...

I dont think so its something related to female mylotters.I myself respond to questions which look interesting to me.About seductive avtar loll.People are use to it now and i dont think so such a things attract large number of crowd anymore.People are used to such things now.It has become very common to attract extra crowd.

you're kidding me right? didn't you just answer it yourself. they have "seductive avatars." i mean. if you're so jealous of them. why don't you just change your profile information and your avatar picture. I, on the other hand, don't really care on how much post i have. LOL
