Anyone here plays freerolls? It's very boring when amateur players put always all in and if you call with pair of kings then they got something like J 5 and they will win you everytime.I don't have good luck in freerolls. What opinions you got about freerolls?

I like playing freerolls. I'm a pretty experienced player so I know how to take down the noobs. Just fight the variance my friend. You'll lose x% of the time and x% feels like all the time but that's only because you don't really notice when you win when your a 70/30, 80/20 favorite. Keep grinding away...responcibly.

Actually, tournaments in general depend much more on luck compared to ring games, and that's because there the number of players you have to confront is huge and there is no re-buy (or the price for a re-buy is pretty low). So winning in these games, freerolls or not depends on your knowledge of odds, your skill of reading other players and some good luck .
So overall I'm not a big fan of freerolls, but from time to time, when there's time to waste, a freeroll might turn out to be an enjoyable game too

I used to be hooked to freerolls when I started out playing poker. Actually I must thank them because I guess that's where I learned to read poker at my best. The problem is that they're lenghty and the prizes aren't that worthy...so I only play them now when completely broke ;)
