Ok, James von Brunn was a complete nut job and moron, but (true to form) the incompetent press is lying through their worm ridden teeth when they make him out to be right wing. Jews weren't the only people von Brunn hated. He hated both W. and HW Bush, hated "Neocons", hated Reagan, as well as Obama. He was an equal opportunity hater. He hated anyone (left, right or moderate) that didn't share his hatred for Jews. So please, worthless press, quit saying he was a product of right wing anything!

I hate that too, I classify myself as liberal but I still hate it when things are "left vs. right" because I think it is stereotyping people, and I especially hate it in this circumstance because it almost is insinuating that right wings are racist, the whole thing only fuels hatred and anger because it is pitting one group against another and where the heck is that going to get us? We should look at this man and that is a crazy and disgusting person and stop squawbelling over "liberal" this or "conservative" that

There is the "left" and the "right" of political issues. It isn't stereotypical to say that something is "left" or "right", or "conservative" or "liberal". When it comes to people, it gets a little more muddled. I'm conservative on mosts issues, but there are a few issues where I sit firmly with the "left". I'm for legalizing pot, not because I think smoking it is such a great thing to do, but I can't see a single benefit the ban has done for our society. I think most of us fit in a "label" pretty well, but I also think almost everyone strays from those political labels on certain issues. For me, I pretty much take people as they describe themselves.

The words have meanings, no matter how much you wish they didn't. I got your point, I was just saying that while the terms do have definitions, it's not as easy defining people.

no there are plenty of people who do not classify themselves as left or right, just because I state that doesn't mean I'm one of them,=and I think you miss my point entirely and are only supporting the idea of stereotyping someone as republican because they believe one way or conservative because they believe a certain way.....you just don't get it

Odly enough, the original nazzi party was a "left wing" phenominon, history has defaulted it as right wing, but in truth, it was quite the oposite, as is anti semitism. I prefer not to assign right or left to hate, I prefer not to asign it to politics period as neither are true political ideology but rather more refer to social and moral beliefs. But rather than asign a label to it and legitmize it, why not just call it what it is....hate....period. Hatred is an ideology in it's own class. The terrorist who killed that young private outside a recruiting center, was hatefull, the terrorist who killed Dr. Tiller, was hatefull, the terrorist who killed that guard at the hollacost meuseum was hatefull.

His politics was extreme Right Wing. He may not live on the same floor of the wing as you and your friends, so to speak, but he certainly wasn't liberal or moderate by any definition. The Extreme Right has some very nasty individuals and shouldn't be used to bring down the others who are Right of Center, but you cannot just pretend they are not Right Wing. Let's not forget there are alot of Right Wing groups that despised the more Moderate Bushes and Reagan. Hate is very conservative in nature.

What a bigoted piece of work you are! If hate is a conservative thing, then you are further to the right than anyone.

Yep, hate means not changing your mind and not changing your mind is "conservativism" defined. Left wing extremists unwilling to open their minds to change are actually Conservative. Will it tick you off even more to learn you might be Liberal in some aspects?

The liberal press and media are always eager to blame everything on conservatives and unwilling to blame anything on liberals.

Yes, as has been documented umpteen times, both by partisan AND neutral research. Do a Lexus-Nexus search & see for yourself. You needn't take MY word for it. Sigh. Saul Alinsky's devotees have come into their own, & now control most of the "mainstream" media. Maggiepie

do you realize that your attitude only fuels to the "left vs. right" mentality, your post is so stupid because you decide just to play the blame game and attack liberals just because you can type it out, not one side is to blame, a crazy racist nut is to blame and it doesnt matter if he is left or right or liberal or conservative so maybe adress the issue first

I wouldn't waste my peace of mind hoping THAT lot will start being fair & balanced, or even honest. Pay no attention to them, & just start watching/listening/reading the truthful media, & tell your friends the truth. We are the real media, now. Maggiepie

And to me, you come across as ignorant, & ignorance is only "nutty" if one persists in remaining so. Saying someone is "ignorant" isn't an insult. It's only when someone refuses to become better informed that it becomes an insult. I'm operating under the assumption that you simply are unaware of the truth. SO...IF you're still under the illusion that the major "mainstream" media are telling people the truth, you are mistaken, & you are ignorant of the facts. It hasn't been true for many years. By the way, I say this as a former member of the media (radio). Educate yourself. Until you do, we have nothing to discuss. Maggiepie

Dear MyLot, My name is Aristede Maddox from Atlanta, Ga. I've heard about what this man did on the news. My opinion about him isn't positive. This man has a social illness and I don't have any love for people like that. My opinion about those type of people is that they weren't born to hate. Nobody in this world is born to hate. People are raised and taught to hate. I don't feel that it's never okay to hate people for who they are and that's what they hate people for. I feel that if you are going to hate a person, you should hate them if they did something really bad to you. But just because one person out of a group of people did something horrable to you or someone you loved and cared about doesn't give you a right to hate every person in that group. And like I mentioned, that man has a social illness and it was insteeled into him by what he was taught as a child probably. The only cure for an illness like that is the person themself. A person has to want to change their attitudes towards other groups of people they hate so much. We all may have been raised a certain way. But God gave each and everyone of us a mind and if we were raised wrong, we have the power to decide what is right. And people that have custody of children who teach them to hate people for all the wrong reasons should have their children taken away from them and sent to jail for mental child abuse. Other adults who do the same thing should be arrested and taken to jail for the same thing. That's my opinion about this story. Sincerely, Aristede Maddox June 13, 2009

Left wing lunatics who kill men who wish to serve their country is admired. Like I said before, at least he did serve in the Armed Forces of America. When doctors kill unborn babies, women seem to admire them. Yet these doctors swore an oath to defend life. Abortion is not defending life. And no, I admire his service, not him personally. Like I admire doctors, but not when they do abortions.

Para, remember the press is left wing. They will always make like every White person who hates Jews and Blacks are always right wingers. It is funny because many people who hate Blacks and Jews are not even politically affiliated like this nut job. But I do admire his war service. At least he did serve in the U.S Armed Forces unlike many of the leftist retards who spit on the American flag and tell lies about the American troops.
