How cool is Barack Obama compared to some of the previous US presidential greats?
JFK is the closest i can compare him to.
We in the UK have Gordon Brown who looks like he is going to burst out crying at any moment. Not exactly cool!
So who is the best US Prezzie?
I would go for James K Polk as he looks like a dandy fop.

If you are talking about "cool" and not policies and actions, I'll go along with you. Not as far as Obama being the "coolest" president, but I'd say he's up there.
To me the coolest was Theodore Roosevelt. Now there was a man!

No, he is not. He is doing his best to take the country into socialism as fast as he can and to increase spending and taxes even faster. Among the best I put Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Ronal Reagan.

Please, people, read your history. Does anyone recal the Great Depression of the 1930s? And by that, I mean reading about it, because all the people that *I* know about it don't go on the web too often. It costs truckloads of money to repair the damages to the economy that was done during that time. Guess what? That means that it will cost the US boat loads of money, to fix the current mess. It won't go away, by not spending money. Money has to be spent, that simple! And of course, if Bush hadn't major screwed the country up in the first place, with giving out several billions to companies so they can treat their people to day spas!
