Hi a my football fan friend, Did you notice that Serie A become less attractive to well known player this year? A few years back, almost everybody love to play at any club in Serie A. All of them want to play for Inter, AC Milan, Juventus or AS Roma or even Lazio and Napoli. But things look different today. Kaka already left for Real Madrir. Some rumors said that Ibrahimovic will go to Barca. Ancerlloti is thinking about bring Pato to Chelsea. Yesteryear, player who want to wear Italy jersey have to play at Serie A. But, Luca Toni break that philosophy. And, he still play for Italy. How do you thing about this my fellow football fan?

I think the top players decided not to come to Italy any more since England and Spain started to dominate the Champions League. It's true that players get very good wages in Italy too, but they also consider the performance they can achieve with a club before signing... And right now, they have much more chances of winning European trophies with English and Spanish teams than they do with Italian teams. The past years' scandals from the Italian football (remember he relegation of Juventus and Milan, Fiorentina taken points from) might also have contributed to some players' decision not to go to Italy.

Hi stvasile, There is a lot of incident that tarnish Italian football images lately. All the hooliganism and bribe scandals totally not good for them. But the players will only give it as a second thought about that. Players will definitely want to go where they can earn something and the Champion league is the most desirable cup. Just like you said, Italian team hardly can break the English-Spain dominance at the European cup competition. If I could said that the only good player go to Italy this season is Eto (have to go because Barca didn't want him anymore) and Diego.

That's true, and Diego came from Germany, which doesn't have such an attractive league any more either.

He might play for a Germany club before but his skill and ability is good too. He is a Brazilian after all. If he can make any impact on Juventus position in the Serie A this season, his value will much higher and a lot of club would fight for his service.

Hi akuler.. I dont thing seria A lost their touch. Even they lost most of their stars players, but they also get some of other stars players. We can look from Juventus first, they get Diego to their team. inter milan that has changed Ibrahimovic for Eto'o. Im sure other teams have brought some nice players to the serie a. That makes this league can more compete, and hope they who qualified to the UCL can compete further.

But Diego is the only top player who go to Serie A voluntary. Eto, on the other hand, have to go there as part of the deal to bring Ibravomic to Barca. He have to accepted it because he no longer needed by Barca. I hope AC Milan wonldn't allow Pato or Pirlo go to Chelsea. There is an attempt to bring them to Stanford Bridge. They are the main player for AC Milan. AC Milan totally can't win Serie A without them.
