Do you know why our soldiers are dying and why they can't win the war in Mindanao? Because they lack of ammunition, not only the ordinary riffle bullets also mortar rounds.
The rebels, meanwhile, seem to be not only better armed but have sufficient ammunition. AFP field commanders have n=been pleading for more ammo but headquarters cannot send them much more.
Why? Because defense Secretary Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro has stopped the awaiting of a contract to supply AFP with ammunition.

Hello, not only that the last mutiny did expose some of the corrupt doings in the military and there was even an allege conspiracy between the Terrorist and the Military. the weapons too aren't upgraded, we have the skills but we lacked technology which is essential in defeating the enemy. when is the war going to end? only when the soldiers get a better equipment.

its not the soldiers incompetence but the corrupt generals and leaders of the armed forces that is why the fighting in mindanao is endless. If the leaders of the said organization is serious enough to end the insurgencies, this has been long gone. there is peace everywhere and security but up to now, soldiers are dying senselessly.

My father is a retired Navy he been retired last December. Our soldier needs proper recognition especially those who assigned in Mindanao. Their life there is always at risk that's why many soldiers now want to retire very early. They are lack of everything compare to the US soldiers they have everything like technology and modern equipments. Their so many corruption happening in AFP the latest is about the balikatan that was exposed by a female officer in Navy. The sad reality is the person who exposed the controversies are being punished not the persons who commits the crime.
