If one of your best friend's parents died ,What would you do to comfort her?

Tang is my best friend,we have a friendship for at least 10 years.About 2 month ago,her father was dead of a heart disease.She is very sad....and not recovered from it yet.I feel sorry for her and like to give her a hand,But I don't know how to do... SO,What would you do if you are in the same situation???

This happened to a friend of mine when we were in school. Sometimes, it is hard to know what to say or do. I find if you ask: I know you're so sad and in pain. How can I help you?
That is a good place to start. Or inviting her to do the things you normally do may help her. Send a card now and then to let her know you are thinking of her. If she needs to talk about her dad, or just be silent about it, follow her lead.
