i grew up in a small valley where children were allowed to go out and play. our neighborhood before consisted of many young children. we used to do hide and seek.when one was caught, he/she will be the one to seek all of us again.if one is caught many times already, he/she will be punished with some consequences like singing or dancing. i remembered i didn't allow myself to be caught because i don't wanna dance in front of my friends.it was kinda happy remembering those old times.how about you?what's your favorite outdoor game when you're still young?

we used to play "patintero" in our place, it's a game composed of two teams, each teams has 3 or more players.. one of the two teams will be the player and one will be the defender. each player or the tean defender will be assigned in a line.their goal is not to pass the other team and not to be caught. if you got caught by one of the team defender, your team will now be the defender team and the other team will now play, and vice versa..

i've done that before but i find them messy in my back. i usually have towels but i just lost them and mom would be so angry angry. the papers are effective because they're like absorbents. i just don't like the prints at my back and i felt more sweaty too.

Out of all the games that we were able to play when we were still young and meet up at our street where we all lived, I really like playing dodge ball. It was exciting when your the one trying to avoid getting tagged with the ball. It was also funny how your opponents would dramatically dodge the ball that you threw at them.

when I was still young I was very active because I play all the time. Me and my cousins of the same age played together outside of our houses. We played all the Filipino traditional games. It was fun and full of energy but right now it was a past that brings good memories in my child hood.

We spent a ton of time outside when we were kids. There were probably a group of about 15 kids the same age just on our block alone.
We played alot of ball games, kick ball, stick ball, dodge ball, running bases, pinners and plain old catch. We played Frisbee and basketball. We all played hide and go seek and variations like kick the can.
One of my fondest memories is when we had a group of 20 people from the neighborhood, grown-ups and kids, all jumping rope at the same time. Yea, That was a time when neighbors talked to each other.

I like playing Patintero with neighbors and schoolmates when I was a kid. Patintero is played by two groups with the same number of members. A 6 X 12 meter rectangle is drawn in the ground and divided in four equal parts. The tagging team, which are to stay on the lines, will try to prevent any member of the other team from running the whole length of the rectangle and back to the starting line. Meanwhile, members of the scoring team will have to be in the confine of the squares and keep themselves from being touched or tagged by their opponents while trying to cross the lines. When a member is able to return to the starting line without him or any of his group mates being tagged, their team scores a point and they will still remain as the scoring team. If a member of the scoring team is tagged or touched, the teams will shift position (the tagging group will now be the scoring group and vice versa). Here's a video of how this is played: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxjbvmuIWPI
I like the game because it requires speed, agility and teamwork.

We used to play cricket all the time. Even in hot weather in INDIA , we used to play
cricket . We love the sport so much. In our area , from the age group of 10 to 45 ,
everyone plays cricket. We also used to play HIDE AND SEEK , if there is power cut.

We used to play hide and seek as well except when we got found we uased to have to run back to the place where the person had been counting and if we beet the person who had found us they got to do a forfit.I used to hide somewhere close to where the person was counting as then i stood a better chance not to have to do any forfit or the counting/finding.

My favorite games to play as kids were Freeze tag and cartoon tag, kick ball, riding our bikes and explorer. When i was really young my brother and I would get on the bottom bunk bed and be the villians and try to kidnap the priness (our little sister) who lived on the top bunk. :)I had two btoehrs and two sisters and NO neighbors where we lived way out in the country so we played together a lot and were constantly making up new games.
