Guiding or Being Guided? Like The Matrix and Tomb Raider.

When you were watching high tech combat movies, have you ever imagined placing yourself as a character in the story? Given a situation of field combat, where your team has the latest technology which can guide the on-field soldiers to where they have to shoot or hide, would you rather be the one in control of the situation, telling your teammates where to attack or retreat, or the one in the field, dependent on your leader? Would you prefer guiding or being guided?
I thought of this when I watched the Matrix and Tomb Raider.

Great discussion. I'd prefer to be the man on the front lines. I'd love to be a hero, surviving immense battles and emerging stronger and stronger and eventually being super-skilled and unbeatable. I couldn't be the man in charge, I'd want to get stuck in.
