I hate Math and some Sciences specifically Physics and Chemistry. Obviously the two Sciences are related to Math. lol! If you cut classes in History, i cut classes and skip a graded recitation on Math. lol! I just hate Math and i'm just there in the class to survive. I'm pretty weak in Math so i didn't bother spend some quality time with my instructor. lol! I'd rather sit on the bench sightseeing. Well i love English, Sociology-Anthropology, Abnormal Psychology hmmm... P.E. of course!

i think we all love recess. i should suggest that teachers have to think of some gimmicks like giving something delicious when one gets a high score.

yes we call that teacher factor.we love the subjects but simply abhor those who teach the subjects. i find it so sad that students really had the interest on the subject but doesn't like the mentor perse. i need to pursue the subjects anyways since they're requirements to finish all grade levels.

loved: math, crafts, cooking, childcare, typing, shorthand, driver's ed, humanities.
Everything else I did my best to skip and usually succeeded. I cut so many classes that it is a miracle that I graduated. I didn't cut and eat noodles in the canteen...we just well...we didn't hang in the school when we cut. History was the worst of all. If I went it was to catch up on some much needed sleep. I skipped so much history that when I did finally get caught...the teacher introduced me to the class as a new student.

i only cut class when the topic in history is long. maybe because it was teacher factor too. her voice was so low and i can't even hear her even if im in front. she faced the board too and never mind students keep getting in and out of the room.

I love Physics than anything else. If I take my Physics book, then hours will seem to be minutes or seconds for me. It's so interesting. I hate Chemistry. I usually sleep off during Chemistry classes. Almost during all Chemistry classes, I can found sleeping with my eyes half open!

I found my love for Algebra and math in High School! I never could connect with History though. It didn't seem easy for me to figure out for some reason. I had a very good teacher one year and learned a lot though! I liked some sciences in school, and I didn't really care for English in High School. I enjoyed Choir though! I think I probably skipped typing the most though! I would just go run around town instead of going to class! It was usually right after lunch so I would go eat and just hang out until past time for the next class to begin!

i joined the choir too way back in high school. sometimes i slept in the class when both the subject and the teacher were boring. im also particular with how the teacher looks like. i wasn't a bad student though because i made it sure that i always belong to the top ten list.

I really enjoyed choir in High School, and in college as well! I am the only person to ever get a B in choir though. It was an "easy A" but I acted up so much that one term my teacher gave me a B!

I particularly don't hate the subjects during high school. Its not that I am really smart or something like that.. oh so I wish I was.. What influenced me on either liking or not getting interested with the subject would be on how the teacher would teach the subject.
I mean, if they already know that the subject is that hard, why make it harder with classes that a flat line in a cardiograph could entertain more? If its really taught in the most interesting way, even the hardest or so subjects would become interesting. So much of memorizing names and their contributions, or places where it all happened.

When I was at high school, I loved English and Literature and really disliked Math. Despite not liking Math, I still managed to get fairly good marks. Despite constantly being told that Math would be important after finishing school, I haven't had to use any of the more technical aspects of it.

Well I very much hate PE. You'll be graded for exercising? That's just a waste of money and time. I'm glad that during college its only graded to get a perfect attendance but the grades are not included in the computation of general percentile average GPA...
I love subjects with formulas coz I only have to remember the pattern on how its computed no texts needed... If you know the formula and the pattern you'll definitely excel.

In high school I favored English and History because of the simple fact there wasn't exactly any studying needed to pass. History was a bit of logic and reading and English was all brain work. Math needed formulas to memorize, Science needed chapters and all kinds of crap on cells and chemicals. Honestly, how many of us remember that crap we learned?

back in highschool, i so love the maths. i joined math competitions and quiz bee since primary school. my favorite teachers happen to be all my math teachers. i could ace my exams and even have a 99% in my report card at the end of the grading period. i argue with my teachers if i think my answer was right and theirs isn't. and those times that we disagreed on the answers, i was totally a 100% correct after a deliberation. i became a student sub-teacher a few times for a math class for lower classmen when our math teacher attended a conference for a few days. and in my senior year in highschool, my math adviser gave me students to tutor as a part time job.
like you, i abhor history class. actually i'm so fascinated by history (the stories and events of the past), unfortunately it's how the history teachers taught the subject in highschool (in my school) that i really didn't like at all. tons of outlines to make which wasn't my style in memorizing at all. none of the explorations i was seeking, everything was based on textbooks. perhaps if the method of teaching by the history teachers have been different and more like the fun and challenging appproach of maths, i would have loved history class in highschool. hehe
