Doesn't this get so annoying when...

When Mylotters rant and whine that their discussions have been deleted? Then they have to create a discussion to whine about it? When I first started Mylot back in 2006 I remember creating so much discussions of all types, yet notice during a time I was getting my discussions deleted by Mylot. I would say it was discussions I created about reaching a certain number of posts and praising a Mylot user that had over 16,000 posts during that time. I have to admit it did annoy me, but then realized that hey this site has rules to go by and it's common sense on what to do in order to avoid getting our discussions deleted. That was my case that milestones weren't allowed to be created as a discussion. Therefore, for those that post new discussions, think before you post it. I would advise some of you to not post discussions about how much you got paid from Mylot, how much posts you made, not to talk bad about another user, not to post referral links from other paid sites and such. Also I would say try at all costs to avoid posting negative comments or flaming other members. It becomes such a downfall when posts are deleted from a flaming thread of continuous fights and arguments. If some of you have a hard time to understand why your posts get deleted then it's best to review the guidelines of discussions until you actually get it. The majority of posting discussions in this site is based on your interests, things you like, what you admire and such. When posting those you're looking feedback from opinions and other users that have the same interest. It wouldn't make any sense to create a discussion just to get praised for it because it has nothing to do with your interests of getting feedback for people to relate to. So what's your say on this? Have you got your discussions deleted? Do you know why they got deleted in the first place? Have you as members actually took the time to read the guidelines of creating discussions? Speak out to what you have to say and please avoid flames in this posts at all costs.

Another helpful and informative discussion!! Thanks again. Actually, I saw a decrease of 4 cents in my earnings yesterday. I was like startled that they can even cut from the amount you have earned. Then, I took a quick look at the discussions that I'd started and found all of them in their place. I don't know why this happened, what I think is somewhere my response or comment got deleted and 4 cents were deducted. And yes, I've read those guidelines very thoroughly.

Best to know where or exactly what the topic was about and why it got deleted. It figures too that posts can be deleted in various forms if some other users sneaked in with comments that could be either not related to what you posted or starting a flame or negative comments or might be they posted referral links on that post, could be that other users could be ranting on another user's opinions....who knows? All I can say is just keep a positive mindset and continue to enjoy your time here in Mylot.

Cool man I like that this what you said was straight to the point. I just started using Mylot yesterday and starting to get the hang of it. Yes I myself read a lot of the rules and guidelines. I won't be thinking about posting anything just to get praised for it I just find that pointless. Thanks for the update. Cheers!

Yes it would be quite annoying to see our posts and comments getting deleted in mylot. It would be very much annoying. But it happens and we have no other go apart from bearing these kind of sentiments. Even I used to start a discussion regarding about the happened incident and we have no other go apart from this:)

I'm glad you're getting the hang of using Mylot. As it is, it's not very difficult to use. Makes it more fun to be here I mean so many options people can do just to get paid it's like a maze of wonders.

Yes, but sometimes it is not fair, I have seen stuff deleted from my discussion and a lot of other Members discussson, and it couldn't be justified? They never tell you why not. well sometimes they might say it is against Mylots policy. But sometimes they make no sense in why they do it.

I have seen alot of discussions like this too and I have even posted a few of my own also. We never know why our discussions get deleted so I do not start very many anymore anyway. Alot of times, it is not our fault, but someone else spams it or reports it for whatever reason to get it deleted.

There isn't a forum or a blog here where people can voice their opinions. Or communicate, or to help get glitches out, or to get help, like most successful sites do now days, so they do it here. Don't be surprised if this topic gets deleted.

I'm new here...trying to make sense of not just the rules but the customs. From what I am sensing here, if you disagree it's best not to post your disagreement? How do discussion accomplish any thing worthwhile if all they are are mutual back patting sessions? Oh, don't get me wrong, I am not advocating name calling or threats or other serious negativity...but if you disagree surely it can be done in a civil manner. The subtle poking and making fun of is so easy to fall into. My opinion, civil discourse and idea exchange is one of the hallmarks of civilization. Are we turning into uncivilized brutes cause we cannot disagree without wanting to somehow hurt one another?
