Hi koentjoro, I have been four times to Bali over the last 10 years. It is very beautiful and used to be one of my favourite places. Not any more. I will never go back. Last year I had many problems. Personal items were stolen from hotel room. Shops offered special price and then tried to give me too little change so that they got the original price. Every time I changed money I had to argue over the amount I was due. The arrivals department in the airport is chaotic. The streets are not repaired and are very dangerous. Traffic system is badly planned. Corruption is everywhere There are many other places in your beautiful country that I have seen and others that I have still to visit. Last year I was also in West Papua and loved it. Sulawesi is also really nice and very interesting.

Forgot to mention that a Bali travel agent charged me almost double the correct fare on flights that he booked and screwed up the arrangements. I got my money back after a long fight but lost two days from my holiday trying to put thinks right. I found out he was also cheating the main travel agent that I use in Germany and they took action against him when I told them what was happening. Bali was known as the "Island of the Gods" now it should be called the "Island of the Frauds".
