I've had a lot of luck with duct tape on the wart. Every morning put a piece of duct tape on the wart so that no air can get at it. After a few weeks, the wart should just stop growing, and start going away. It's a simple ineffective trick, and it's a lot cheaper than the over the counter wart covers.

Yes. Keeping it covered definatly works. I myself have used bandaids.

I once had a wart on my thumb. I know that this is going to sound weird but I sold mine.
My dad said he could get it to go away so I humoured him. He ave me a 10p piece and said, "I will buy your wart for this 10p deal?". I agreed and about a week later, I noticed that it had gone. Upon speaking with my dad, I found out that he had gained a wart on his thumb.
He comes from a line of Romani gypsies so it's semi witch-craft.
