Well I have a few good horror movie suggestions, the grudge was good, and the ring, and the thing by john carpenter, hellraiser 1 and 2, the fly starring Jeff gold bloom, or if you like slasher flicks then maybe you'll like friday the 13th parts 1 through 7 if you havent seen them yet, also the original stepfather film or you might enjoy one dark night starring meg tilly.

The Blair Witch Project. It scares me the most since it's based on true findings so..

Since you have been watching movies over the years, you might have already seen this one. If you haven't yet , then get this one. It's "Dracula" ! Really scary. I watched that once , and I just don't dare to watch that for the second time ! Ha ha ! Really scary !
Have a nice time !

It's hard to suggest one to someone who has been watching horror for so long but The Blair Witch Project scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it. It's horror relies on being suggestive rather than actually showing you ghosts or monsters. You hear things going on in the movie and it throws your imagination into overdrive...at least it did mine. One old movie that I've only seen once that scared the hell out of me was the Amityville Horror.

I would recommend the shining, nightmare on elm street, the omen, and halloween, your probably seen at least one of them already but all four of them have scared me many times and tend to play on my mind afterwards now that is what horror should be all about.

If you ahven't seen "Drag me to Hell" yet, I'd suggest that. It's in theaters right now. I'mnot into horror myslef, but everything I've heard about that movie was good things.

Absolutely check out Drag me to Hell. It is being hailed as the best horror movie in YEARS. It has humor and absoultely terrifying scenes in it. I was laughing during one scene and then peed my pants within a second. It really keeps you on edge.
Sam Raimi=Amazing

Hi doormouse
I'm the same, I've watched so many horror movies I just don't scare easily anymore. Now, horror movies that scare my girlfriend or mates, really doesn't affect me because I can predict when a jumpy part's coming up. All I can do now is rate a horror movie on originality and quality of acting. On that note, if you haven't already seen it, watch Mirrors. I didn't find it scary at all but I thought the movie as a whole was really good. Although, it would scare the crap out of the missus...
