Cant appreciate love till youve been burned !!!

I am neither. I believe both are true though, You can fall in love at first sight And others keep getting burned by love.the rule is there are no rules. Some met their soulmate on the playground when they both were 6. Others see them across a crowded room when they are 70.The thing is to be open And ready for it when it happens. Sadly I think many have met their soulmate and let them go over the silliest little things.

Love can certainly happen at first sight for some and a string of heartbreaks have to precede true love for others but I have to wonder whether love itself is an emotion that is fraught with pain as well as joy. “Loving someone so much it hurts” feeling the other person’s sadness and pain along with yours, missing their presence so much when they are away from you. I don’t think it applies just to romantic love, if love my daughter more than life and I feel everything along with her, her fear, her insecurities, her pain as well as her joys. I wonder whether love is a wonderful mixture of ecstasy and profound sorrow but I do know that you probably have not truly lived until you have experienced it.

I think they mean something like saying ' You cant appreciate light unless you have seen darkness' or maybe something like ' you can't understand unless you go through it'. I completely agree that you cant appreciate love till there have been some mistakes and problems ridden along with it. It's just the way it. I have seen couples who are living for years and still in love and it seems as if it started yesterday. I don't believe in love at first sight to me this is infatuation. I will say that love comes with pain because these are two persons from different background coming together to make a life for themselves. There will be misunderstanding that will come with pain and this is the reasons persons said that one have to compromise to be compatible. Well I don't know the song that you are referring to but I know that even the story book endings has some pain in it as well.

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, WEll, to be true to ourselves, me and my hubby never underwent such a illusion experience in our lives of falling in love at first sight. We were married 40 yrs back, by our parent's seettlements and we continue living together. Our married life have been great success till date. We have nothing to say about this kind of love. i am always thigking like that.wht if there is no more earthache and we can live with someone that we realy love.love at the first sight is so possible.cause it always begin fromthe first sight and i think there is no thing in this world that as wonderfull as love at the first sight.cause there is some honestly.

I have had my heart broken many times. It is not a very good feeling at all. I was in the relationship for the long haul and tried everything I could, to make it all work out. They did not want any part of it though. They just wanted to use me and move on.

Heyya ronnyb! I guess I'm from the school of many heartaches. I do think there are people that have experienced love at first sight though and it has lasted. I am with a great guy now and I'm hoping it works out but you never really know about these things. I think it's great for those who have been lucky enough to find it the first time arround but there are those of us who have had to wait a while.

I have to go through hell before I found the love of my life and still not sure if both of us will be together I do wish and am willing to give up just anything just to have this girl right now....but seems fate is never on my side and no matter how hard and how much I love it always ends in a sad ending maybe its my fate and maybe not. Only time can tell now what would be our fate together but if I where to decide I rather go through hell and have this girl rather than to be on the garden of eden and not have her.
