Oh yeah

No I felt like I was kicked in the stomach. I live for the Red Wings . But I am happy for all the Pens fans and for Mario LeMieux. Back when he played for the Pens I was a fan. Mario and Jahr were great. In fact if this happened last year , I would have been happy . but this year I lost what little connection I had to the Pens. Well that is what happened when they beat my second favorite team , my home team The Caps.so I was hoping to my Wings win yet again. And it is that yet again part that makes me less hurt. I was blessed to see the Wings win 4, that's right4 times! So I hope you can believe me when I say Congrads. I hope the parade in Pittsburgh is great. Oops, I assume you are in Pittsburgh.And just think, it wasn't too long ago there were rumors of the Pens leaving town. Well they are here to stay.Enjoy.I hope for a rematch next year.

We had a huge party at our house for game seven and I must say the whole house jumped out of their seat when Fleury made that save at the end of the game. We all thought it was a sure goal and to see the Pens win was amazing. I'll be honest, only one of us there were true Pens fans. The rest of us just hate Detroit. Personally, I also dislike the Pengsuins but I dislike them a lot less than I do Detroit. I'm also a fan of Malkin and Fleury so to see them hoist the cup was great to watch. The draft is coming up in less than two weeks and free agency opens July 1. It will be a long summer without the game I love but it could not have ended any better way. For the excitement behind that game, how close the game and the series actually was and the way it came right down to the final second. Fans of all 30 teams could not ask for a better finish to the season

I love the fact the Penguins won. The NHL needs a new dynasty. The Pens are young and can only get better barring cap issues. They are fun to watch.

Well congrats to the Pens, they worked very hard to win this cup. But as a lifelong Detroit Red Wings fan, I was crushed. But hey that's sports. I just hope the Pens and Wings get to have a tiebreaker next year.
