So I've been running the 3.5 preview version and really love it. I've compared the data between firefox and the other major browsers and the only area that firefox is behind (safari and chrome) is in javascript. since a lot of web 2.0 is written in java, I think that firefox should improve it's performance in that area for the next version. besides that, the usual amazing firefox performance.

I like it. It has lots of JavaScript speed improvements. BTW Java isn't JavaScript.

So how much better is it compared to the current release? Is the design different? The only drawback I have found with Firefox is that it does not handle Active X controls very well. Thanks for the feedback.

I became a firefox user and fan since I came to discover it during the days they were not known yet. They started slowly and crept in slowly to grab IE's popularity during those times the IE is the number one browsers. Now I guess theis popularity is gaining ground and with its impending release of a newer version would definitely be going to look forward as they are already gaining strength in terms of their users.

Hi, I finally broke down and switched from Netscape 7.2 (You read right) to Firefox 3.0.11 last month. What are the big differences going from the official version to the Beta? The Beta tag makes me hesitate upgrading since there still might be lots of bugs/instability/security loopholes. Look forward to hearing some feedback.
