terminator salvation

I saw it a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it. I liked the references to the first movie such as the photo of Sarah and the audio tape she made him. It had good action and good special effects and I liked the new machines that were introduced. There were a few things that bothered me but they were minor. One thing was the character Marcus. I remember wondering through most of the movie just why he is so important. I thought maybe they could have developed his character better. I also didn't like that they cast Michael Ironside as the Commander of the military forces. He's just not a very strong actor, I don't think. There were other minor things that bugged me a little but it was still an awesome movie. I'll certainly buy it on DVD.

I love this movie too. Nothing really bothered me about it all - I just enjoyed it immensely and have been thinking about it ever since! I was even dreaming about terminators last night after seeing it! Anyway I'm glad it's having a much better response on my lot. I've been on the IMDB boards for the film and the people on there really seem to hate it. No idea why, but I guess it's always hard to please the die hard original film fans. As to Marcus's character - I liked it. A lot of the charcter development was in his looks/voice etc rather than his words which shows very good acting. I spent a lot of the film wondering who he was which really made it a gripping film. Edge of the seat suspense and action and a great plot, which had the tough job of being both a prequel and a sequel!!

I think it's will be a good movie, as the terminator in series are good. But I still can't found the DVD version in the internet, I don't have time go to the cinema, even I know that watching at the big screen feels better. I am going to see it untill the DVD version comes out. Have a good day! Swaggalicious.
