How many times do you eat at MCDonald's?

Ain't it a most convenient way to dine? Fast food or not, my daughters and I frequent McDonald's for an early morning coffee and Mcmuffins before school, one piece chicken for lunch, and whatever burger sandwich comes to taste at the late hours of the night. Sometimes, we go drive-thru, but most often we dilly-dally with young diners who are pre-occupied with their laptops and the older folks who solve the crossword puzzle and sudoku. So, how many times do you stop by McDonald's? What is your usual order, too?

I really used to enjoy McDonalds and would go for it whenever I was in town. But over the years, that took it's toll on my health, and I became overweight and lacked energy.
I haven't eaten one for at least 15 years now, and feel so much better for it. There is more fresh fruit and vegetables in my diet. All my excess weight has gone and I feel far more energetic. If I am honest though, I would still like one now and again, but I know me - it wouldn't stop at that, it would go back to every time I was in town again! - Derek

I feel guilty going once a week because of the money and because I don't believe it is very healthy. I just go so hooked on their Crispy Chicken Sandwiches... until they changed their dang buns. Then I went back to the Filet o' Fish and have fallen in love with them all over again. They have now added some terrific salads to their menu (my daughter had one this past Saturday), but if I want a salad I'll pick one up at the grocery deli.

Avoid it altogether. A friend of mine who worked at the McDonald's in Glendora, at the Wal*Mart, told me that some of the milk cartons were left outside for hours, and they still used that milk in the milk shakes. That was gross! Funny enough, that was not the first story I heard like that about McDonald's. A few of my friend's who used to work at the McDonald's in Pomona off the 10 freeway, showed me the kind of meat that they used and I nearly puked my guts out looking at it. Their meat is grossly over-processed. A lot of this happened after my mother ate the McDonald's french fries. There french fries gave my mother intestinal tract problems for a week. I found out that they put perfume in their french fries, and that was what made my mother sick.

None. I never eat at McDonald's, and if you all knew what goes on at a McDonald's restaurant, and how fattening their food is, you would never want to eat there again. McDonald's is the WORST fast food restaurant in the world. One of their salads has over 1,000 calories in it and it does not stop there.
I believe, in my heart of hearts that McDonald's food is what has been killing many of the people here in America, and if you are stupid enough to eat McDonald's food, then you will get what is coming to you, obesity, heart disease, and cholestoral.

You are right on that, but have you seen the grease, trans fat, cholestoral, calories, and natural fat that is in McDonald's food. The numbers would shock you! It is disgusting! I am betting that the people on here don't even know about it because if they did, they would turn their noses up at McDonald's in a heartbeat. There is not way I would ever eat at McDonald's after seeing what they put in their food. I had friends who worked at McDonald's and they told me exactly what went on behind close doors and it grossed me out. Who the heck would want to eat their food after seeing that and having that kind of information about their food?

I very rarely eat there and when I do I get a parfait...one of those little yougurt and fruit cups. It's probably the healthiest thing and they don't actually prepare it...it gets shipped in frozen and they keep them cold till their sold, in fact alot of times the fruit is still frozen when I get it.

Actually they do prepare the parfaits. I used to do it. The yogurt comes in a big plastic jug, and you plop it in the empty cup. Then you sprinkle in so many frozen chunks for fruit and top off with a little yogurt. Then you sprinkle the granola in the lid and put that cardboard thing in. Sometimes I messed up and some granola got into the cup of yogurt! Then I had to toss it and start making a new on. Sure, the fruit comes frozen, but we had to put the things together every morning before we opened.

We are a McDonalds family. We go one at least if not twice a week. And their coffee has laways been the best. I am also a HUGE fan of Starbucks but I can tell you that McDonlads beats their coffee in taste and a bit in price too. And now that they have added their McCafe line its even better.
We usually get 2 happy meals and soon will be getting 3 as my grandaughter is almost 2 and will be needing her own soon. So 2 happy meals one or two big meals and then some of the dollar burgers to complete it. We are a big family so we can not all get meals now but we share the fries and soday and everyone gets enough. If we all bought meals it would cost us like $35.00 so by doing this we can get away with $20.00 only and we can afford to go back more often.
I have 4 girls and have been taking them all their lives and now the grandbabies too. I know its not a healthy thing to do ,especially to kids but we its one of the few fun things we can do right now for them in times as economically tough asv right now.

I used to love McDonald's. My regular order used to be a medium #1 with no lettuce & a coke. For the past 3 years, we've not lived near a McDonald's, which used to depress me. Then I found out that McDonald's is not supporting the American rancher and is getting their beef from Argentina, which also allows them to bypass FDA regulations. About a month ago, I was really low on cash and couldn't afford a healthier option for my lunch while 4 towns away at work, so I grabbed my old favorite telling myself that I can't help how broke I am, and the $4 I'm spending for a value meal isn't exactly supporting their choice to go for cheaper beef product from outside the U.S. etc, yada-yada.
I regretted it tho. After not having that sort of fast food in my system in many months, I felt like I had been slipped a mickey after eating it. I felt like someone ground up a sleeping pill in my coke or something.
No more McDonald's for me. Sorry.

I kind of do tghe McDonalds thing in streaks. Every once in a while I get cravings for like Big Macs and then I have to get like 2 or 3 a week. Then I don't go again for a while. If I don't really have time or anything in the house to cook then I go a little more often, but I would rather spend my money on groceries so that I can make a healthier meal and also be able to have left overs so I can stretch my money during the month. I do go through the drive thru a few times during the week though like if I'm out and just want to grab a large coke or orange drink, or grab a cup of coffee on the fly.

Hello eileenleyva!
I am not really a big fan of fast food. I do eat in fast food from time to time but not that often. Even if I do, I rarely eat at McDonald's. If I do drop by McDonald's, I would order fries and chicken. Sometimes Big Mac too.

I am terrible for getting take-aways. I much prefer to eat a home cooked meal and I enjoy cooking but sometimes just the thought of slaving over a hot stove makes me dismiss this idea. We work all day and sometimes cooking is the last thing we can bare to do when we get home.
It's a shame because we are ruining our bodies and our health by living this life.
I have a mcdonalds around the corner from my work and it is a struggle to talk myself out of going when I forget to take a packed lunch. Over the last week, I have had a Chip Shop twice and a KFC dinner. It's not good.

Mcdonald is sold at very high price in my country, almost only white-collar class can afford. Therefore I eat it at times. There was a time that my colleagues and I eat McDonald as our lunch because we find it hard to decide what to eat for lunch. The restaurants around our company are few and expensive, we have tried every possible dishes and nothing fresh. we've been eating those for nearly two or more years.
I'm not very into fast food, I only stick on its spicy chicken wings and spicy chicken hamburger and ice cream with heavy flavor. And this is why I prefer MCDonald more than KFC. Thank god, KFC is not next door to our company or I have to walk for a while to buy lunch.
During cold winter afternoon when the heating isn't working well in our company, my colleagues and I often go to McDonald to sit for a whole afternoon and drink hot coffee or hot chocolate.

I eat at mcdonalds pretty often because I'm trying to gain some weight. I am 5'9 at about 142 and I'm trying to get to about 165. I usually eat the number four meal which is the double quarter pounder, fries and a drink (the best meal ever). I am a heavy eater so this doesn't usually fill me up because when I get home I usually eat again lol. But I am stil l42 so sad.. All in all I eat at mcdonalds probably like every two days.

I try not to eat at Mcdonald's if I can help it. Yes, it is convenient but it is not cheap either. Besides, it can be sort of addictive. However, I do visit Mcdonalds restaurants if I need to study for exams. I just have a cup of drink and park myself at a corner of the restaurant.

Actually eat at McDonalds rarely, my son and I had breakfast there and he played in the play area, that was about a month ago. I do love Egg McMuffins though, so I have one or two at least once a month. As for lunch or dinner, I would say maybe once a month. I do stop there a couple of times a week to just get a soda, they have the cheapest sodas around.

I don't really eat at McDonald's a lot because their food is pretty gross and just kind of greasy. I would prefer to eat something that I know is real and doesn't taste completely fake. Plus you could just buy a piece of fruit from a grocery store for like a fifth of the price of most fast food and you won't feel sick or anything like that after you get done eating an apple or an orange. Plus there are actually nutrients in fruit or real food.

I used to go to McDonalds every morning. My ex had a thing for their sausage biscuits. But, now I only go if I'm really hungry on the run and need to stop for something to eat... and if I have the money on me. If I don't, then I just have to wait until I get somewhere I can grab a cheaper bite! Haha. I used to work at McDonalds too, so I know all the ways to slyly order cheaper food, and get that better deal! Haha.

am from the philippines and many filipinos would say they frequent jollibee more than mcdonald's. no offense but the taste buds of my countrymen agree more to that of jollibee's since it was founded by a filipino.
however, i like mcdonald's fries. only burger king fries can step up to a competition with it. also their mcflurry is good. very, very good .

Thank goodness I only stop at Macdonalds when the kids are late finishing their basketball games on Friday and I can't be bothered cooking tea! They love Macdonalds, but it is a real treat since it becomes pretty expensive and it all tastes the same after a while. Although I do love the chips!
It is good to see that they are now producing at least some healthy food here in NZ. They way our population is moving towards a healthoer diet, especially for children is great. Good on Macdonalds.
