What do you think of mylot tasks?

The job providers put 1000 conditions to make 10 cents. This is real exploitation of the workers. How these job providers put so much conditions for the cheap rewards 10 cents and so on?
It is because there are some workers who take up these jobs. That is why they don't want to pay reasonable rewards.
Some job providers simply reject the work. The workers spend a lot of time to complete the task, but the job providers don't seem to bother about the the time spent by the workers.
Do you want Mylot admin to filter such job providers?

What I think, as a webmaster, its fair enough as those tasks don't deserve more than 10-15 cents.
Think from the task creator's point of view, when he earns about 15 cents from one referral, what would he gain if he pays it all to those referring people??!!
Its a pure business, as I think..
And perhaps, these tasks get approved easily if you do them correctly unlike those paragraph writing ones.

I believe the providers should be an separate group of users whose tasks we can rate. If they are absolutely nonsense tasks or not clear, or it's just workers exploitation we can rate them negatively and they will be checked by the admin. And if they get a lot of positive ratings they get some advantages over other providers.
They should as well have a guestbook where we can give our opinion on each individual, to let users be able to decide whether they will accept tasks from that provider in the future. They should be distinguished ( is it the right word?) from normal users, to make them better recognisable.
MyLot should also stimulate normal users to post MyLot, I believe the balance you have in your MyLot should also be able to be used for financing those tasks. And the minimum you should use for those tasks should be lowered, 10 dollars is way too much when you just want to post a task once and not regularly.
It's just my opinion, feel free to react; add your ideas, change my ideas, just discuss. ;)

You are fully correct diamania. Admin should have some form of checking the job providers too. When the job providers can ban a worker from participating in future tasks why not the worker record his/her dissatisfaction about the job provider?
The site admin should not encouage those job providers who simply try to exploit the workers.

Nice to note that it helped you a lot. But let us give respect what the majority feel about these tasks? If majority feel that these tasks are good, then I will accept I am wrong.

i have never done any job here at mylot, instead there are many good sites where you are able to choose the task of your choice and it needs only a minute or two and your task is completed, if you would like to join it i will invite you from the site itself

Hi,
let's make simple.. if we think the rewards is worth. So take it. If we dont,.. just leave. I agree with mylotter above, that mention the job maker gained if they have referral here. It is a small money, if they gave us more it can be useless.
Just take or leave it. Its depend on our own now..
Have a nice days..

It is true that we can leave it if we don't find it worth. But if we ignore things like this, will it do good to the site?
I am not blaming all the providers. But I just appeal to them to think of the precious time spent by the workers, that is all.
After all time is money.

I don't know how safe it is to supply your email id to so many sites. And there are always a section of people who would opt to take the cents who meager it may be.So we cannot generalize this practice. It seems that most of the sites are paying only these minuscule cents for most of the back breaking works.Well at least we have the option of taking the jobs or leaving them so as not to blame anyone for our deeds.

Yes, this is also a valid point. This is against the trems of mylot. I don't know how this is not brought to the notice of admin so long. I think if admin could have a check over these tasks it will be fine, but in reality I don't know whether this is possible because they will having more important work than attending to these petty matters.

I agree with you. These new task creators are asking a bit much for these 5, 8, and 10 cents they are offering. You would think they would offer a bit more for such an involved task, especially since they are allowed to set it at any price they desire. Hopefully those who set tasks in the future will take note of this. But Admin doesn't need to filter these low paying tasks, they will filter themselves as less and less people accept them, and either they will have to raise their payouts, or stop offering it altogether.

Don't fear, because what I am saying is taking hold as we speak. There are a couple of tasks in there that have been there all weekend. One had 100 slots to fill, and still has 97 of them left. Most people aren't going to take a task that is not paying what they are worth, and in order to make these providers raise their rates, we have to do our due diligence in not accepting these tasks.

when you are badly in need of money you have to accept tasks that are not worth your time and this is what the job providers exploit, it is a pity that they don't bother about the time of workers. They want to get maximum work at done at minimum costs.

Yes, I think you have made a point there. But as long as the workers are ready to accept low paid jobs providers would try to exploit the situation to the maximum, lol.

I think Mylot admin should join the check process, not just task ctrator, when a task is done by WORKERS,the task creator will check them out,if the task creator think the work is not qualified, then it should be transfered to Mylot admin, and explain why, this way is fair enough when the task creator want to reject a task. And yes of course, Mylot admin should filter dishonest job providers.

That will be a great idea, but mylot admin may not have time for all these matters, I think. We can't blame mylot for this. We can only bring this matter to them, that is all. The providers should change their attitude. Or else the workers should be careful while accepting these tasks.

First it is against the trems og mylot to promote such business here. And again it is a big exploitation of the workers.

I agree that it seems a waste of time to follow endless steps with over-the-top restrictions just to collect your 10 cents when you're finished. But even though I get frustrated with filling out the same forms and information over and over again, I found other survey/blog websites in the process that I was forced to join to get my 10 cents. And just like others have commented, these other websites are much more flexible and generous with rewards. I think that with these tasks, sometimes it's worth it and sometimes it's not. If there was a convenient and realistic way to filter out the cheap job providers, then I say by all means do it! Otherwise it isn't killing me to continue with these minute paychecks.

Glad to note it helped you sometimes to explore some good sites out there. Yet this is really frustrating. We should be very careful about these job providers. We should have the awareness what task we should take up and what we should not. There is no other way to filter these tasks. We can only bring awareness among the workers.
