I just ran into someone I haven't seen for a very long time....really long time. At first when I looked at her I thought it was someone I should know....she was the one that clarified the situation and said.....well how are you! Since I have seen her, she has now become gray....filled out a bit.....and of course aged like I have..but after I left the store I thought....I wonder what she was thinking! LOL....I wonder if she thought...my she has aged! LOL Do you run into people you haven't seen for a while and think! Oh my...have they changed! And do you think they are thinking the same thing? LOL

HAPPY SUNDAY JILL, LOL, I HAVE DONE THE SAME THING TWICE RECENTLY. One was what use to be a close friend. i never see her anymore much. I couldn't get over how wrinkled she was. another was a girl that i hadn't seen in a long time & she's alot younger than i am. I couldn't believe how wrinkled she was. I have always taken care of my skin. I SURE THEY MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT THE SAME THING BUT I CAME HOME & LOOKED IN THE MIRROE & I don't have that many.

Yep, this happens quite often especially if they are females from many centuries ago in high school. I look and fumble for words at times and then think to myself how this person has aged. Once I am away, I wonder if they noticed how I've aged as well. It's almost silly on my part and might be a waste of brain power.

Not normally.. but I have thought about that in the case of running into an ex. I put on a lot of weight when I got pregnant with my twins, and my ex hasn't seen me since then. I ran into his girlfriend once awhile back, and that got the idea in my head that I might someday run into him. I always thought what he'd think if he saw me so heavy.

Hey jill! That's so funny! I hardly ever run into people that
I used to know and I live in the same area that I have always
lived in! Maybe I do run into them, but don't recognize them!lol
And I know that I sure have aged so maybe they don't recognize me
either and that's fine with me! I also can't see too well with
or without my glasses so even when I "see" people I know I
don't really SEE them! Like yesterday I was grocery shopping
and all of a sudden this woman who was standing right in front
of me calls my name! She is my neighbor! I didn't even notice
her and she was right in front of me! Well, I was concentrating
on my grocery shopping and the boyfriend who was rushing me along!

It happened to me two weeks ago. She is just one of my classmate
during high school years. She look really matured and aged beyond
her looks long time ago. Maybe because she is already married and had
five kids to take care.

i have had that happen with friends from school before. I have had a lot who I don't recognize. I feel awkward asking who they are, so I just kind of go along with whatever they're saying lol. I don't want them to think I have no idea who they are, but people change so much it's hard to tell. I've even pulled out yearbooks before to try to figure it out.

Oh now this is funny. I haven't recently come across anyone from way back but I'm not sure if I want to, haha. I know one time years ago, there was a girl who said hi to me, and don't you remember me?..And I didn't. She remembered ME from school and all my friends, and I had no idea who she was. I was sooooo embarrassed. Now I wonder what she thought.

My friends who are fair skinned like myself have aged so much and I guess that to them I have aged too. My friends who have a darker skin tone of various shades have not aged much at all. Truly. They may have put on weight but their face remains the same. Sometimes, I hate them, and wonder why it is only me that is getting old. They look at me and then say: Oh, I did not recognise you.
