in this economy we are all worried about splurging on something. yesterday, i got my very first pedicure! i really did enjoy it. they had a special down the street for $ 16.99. i got a design also, $5 extra. also, they have massage for $ 35! believe it or not i've NEVER had a professional massage. im considering it. people have told me i really need to experience this. usually i feel guilty and regret it when i splurge for something i dont really need. Do you?anyway, im going to try and put the pic here so you can see what was done. i love it. hope you can see it.

Congratulations on your first pedicure!!! It's soolo cute, and I love the color of your choice... so fresh. I've started having a manicure a few years ago, and I love having it, every after a few weeks. It's a good thing that this very affordable in our country. Regarding your question about what I have splurged on. It's probably having my hair rebonded a few months ago. I felt a bit guilty, especially, because the package is worth.. about four cans of milk for my son... that's how expensive it is. The result is fulfilling though... I got a lot of compliments.

I try to hold on to my bucks these days, because of my and my husband's unemployment status. We do nothing for entertainment, but stay home and watch TV. Last week, I guess I can say it was splurging, we went to Quiznoes for lunch. It felt good for a chance to be out there with other people spending money, and to top it off the sandwich was very very good. Your pedicure is very pretty. I used to work at the corporate office of a Hospice, and every now and then they would bring in a masseuse, to ease some of the tension and stress the employees were going through. Let me tell you, a professional massage is soooooo good, we also had Riki. When you have extra money to spare, go for it, you will not regret it.

Oh your feet look worth the money spent…specially the design! No, I have never yet splurged on anything …OK, only once before my marriage when I went to get my first and only facial massage and the treatments. I also splurged on cosmetics and herbal products. If I am to splurge on anything now, its got to be food! I feel like splurging on food most of the days, but I cant really afford to. When I can, I buy exotic food products or treat the family to a special dinner.

I splurged on some things for my small business so it's not really splurging, more of investment I don't remember splurging money this year yet I don't think we can, at least until the economy gets better

Sometimes we have to splurge otherwise everything (life) can get so dreary and we need a little pick me up. to me, the cost of the pedi you had is so much more than what I pay in this country. I pay the equivalent of US$10. Because I live in a hot counry and because I wear open toed shoes and sandals a monthly pedi is a must - and I so enjoy it too. Especially when they massage the feet with lotion. Oh, and they get oof the hard skin so very well too. I love professional massages but haen't had one since last year. It does so loosen up the muscles and I just feel so wonderful. But of course, that is so expensive. I am sure that you felt so good when it was done. Now get the massage and enter heaven!

I splurged on my new computer. I spent close to $1400 on my new laptop. It was worth every penny.

I splurge occasionally by taking my 3 year-old daughter out for lunch. And a couple of weeks ago I took her to a cake shop near us which I usually just walk past and drool . Well, that day I thought, we'd both had a busy day, so I decided to treat her (and me!). She got to pick her own cake (she chose a chocolate cornflake cake with mini chocolate eggs on top) and I had one too (a rum baba) - and they were really amazing! Usually she just tries things and then leaves most of them, but she finished every crumb of her cake in no time at all. It was nice to see her enjoying herself. And I was pretty happy too.

i have not splurged on anything. we are just trying to keep our heads above water and pay our bills. we are trying to hold onto what we have and trying to get out of debt and not make the same mistakes we have made in the past. i do not see us splurging on anything in the near future either to be honest. i wish things would get better just so we could stop worrying from day to day.

i see what your saying. in my youth i could not splurge at all either. for years the only time we could have something extra was when a friend or family member did it for us. some day though it will get better. i hope soon for you.

Nice pedicure, and yes I do splurge but very rarely, but the other week I bought a couple of entertainment items I bought a classic game and one my favorite DVDs I ordered them online, and I cant waite until they arrive, anyway I think theres nothing wrong with splurging occasionally if you can afford it as long as all of our other more important responsibility's are taken care of, but I have to admit sometimes I suffer from splurgers remorse lol a bit after splurging.

I love pedicures, only 16.99? That's a good deal. So much fun. I usually just get my nails done. I splurge on my hair. I get really bored so I change it up a lot. I've spent about 250 on getting my hair done at a salon before. Ridiculous I know, but my hair has to be the way I like it!

Don't feel guilty! Everyone deserves a little pampering now and then! As long as you budget accordingly so that you can afford the little splurge, then it is totally worth it! I recently bought me and my husband a couples massage for our 3rd anniversary. It was awesome! I have only had a handful of massages in my lifetime, but I figured it would be something we could both enjoy. He had never had a professional massage. Aren't pedicures great? I haven't gotten many of those either, but I really like it when I do!

Very pretty! I have never gotten a pedicure but both my sister seem to enjoy it...I have such ticklish feet I can't stand anyone touching them....I do splurge ocassionally....I think you have to even if it cost a little....makes you feel better about yourself. When I splurge it's on something for my crafts.
