I've known people who got married just because the girl is pregnant. and some stayed in live-in relationship because they dont want commitment or lets say a legal paper that binds them together. But isnt marriage is security? and live-in is like living an unsecured relationship? is it a question of what suits your lifestyle? what is your opinion about this?which one are you in? what are the pros and cons in each? share your thoughts.

I believe in marriage and all that it stands for. My husband and I have been together for over 14 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. And to be frank live-in relationships are NOT the same as marriage- those relationships are easier to walk away from. I know people in both types of relationships and it if works for you- go for it and enjoy. Happy Mylotting!

i guess that you have a point in bring easier to walk away from, but that is as long as there are no children... and, in my opinion, people get married or move in together to start a family, so in the end it's pretty much the same.

they're the same, I think... People live in the same union if they are married or not. There are many people who are only living together that have more of a marriage than couples who had all that fancy feast...
in the ancient rome there wasn't a ceremony, they just moved in together...
so it depends if you feel you need it...
