"Mine mine mine mine mine!" ad nauseum. The seagulls cry in "Finding Nemo" is the cry for many in this country, and indeed, this world. Ours is a selfish society. My mom and I were discussing this today. Her own brothers, my uncles, are stingy. They were stingy growing up, according to her, and they remain so. They're not really mean about it, but they are stingy. Now, to be fair, I should say that, a lot of the time, they seem stingy. They could have learned a lot from their now deceased younger sister, my late aunt Lois Ann (we always called he "Annie"). She was generous to a fault. My mom is like that, too. Mom is more like the person I want to be, than often am. Her Faith, Hope, and Love are all that, and more. What that I could more like her, or her late sister. What that our family as a whole could be.
