I registerd with oDesk.com.but i find difficult to get a job without passing tests.any body help me to get a job.

Hi kathijabanu! I am not sure about your expertise. It'll help if you already have a job in mind so that you can apply easier. Also, with each job, are preferred exams to past. Like in my case, my preferred job in Odesk is a Virtual Assistant, with that, I need to pass exams related to the tasks of my job, which includes: email handling, english tests, etc. The Odesk tests are relatively very, very easy in my opinion. Also, you can search the net for answers, while taking it, just as long as you finish the exam within the time frame of 40 minutes. I have posted my latest earning in Odesk through my blog (check out my profile), just to inspire more odesk wannabe freelancers. My earnings are not that much, since I opted to work less than 10 hours a week. I hope this helps :-) Happy Mylotting!

hello Kryzell,Best wishes.I studied Diploma in computer application.I think this qualification is enough to take simple data entry jobs in oDesk.com. For this qualification which oDesk test is suitable for me. Please guide me. My mail id kbanu34@yahoo.com

I tried to check odesk, but for some reasons I can't open some windows, maybe because of the scheduled maintenance. There's supposed to be a part there where you can check the recoimmended tetsts for each job. However, in my opinion, assuming you have passed your Odesk readiness test, you might want to pass the following exams to work a data entry position: US English Basic Skills Test, Office skills test email etiquette certification, MS Word 2003 test, English spelling test, MS word 2007 test, MS excel test. You don't have to pass all this in one day. I myself took exams one day at a time. Goodluck!!
