flea market / side walk sale

i went to a flea market today and got a few things and it saved me some money i got cleaning supply brand new really cheap i was happy i got 18 dish pads for $1 when in the stores they are like 2 for $3 so i saved a good bit of money by getting them there. have you ever got stuff at a flea market or side walk sale to save money

I could really use some new dish pads. I dont even know where to go to find a flea market. I am always on the look out for a good deal. Lately I have been trying to find ways to make what I need my self from something else I have that I dont need anymore. I am tired of all the little projects I have, Id rather spend a dollar and get the stuff.

well i am in pittsburgh and they have them all over the place here in the spring and summer so when i see a really good deal i try to stock up on what ever it is i need so that way i won't have to buy them for awhile my hubby thinks i am crazy but i tell him when you see how much we save you won't think i am so crazy any more.

We used to go to flea markets when I was a kid. My Dad took us when we lived with him and my Mom took us when we lived with her. It was loads of fun and I miss that. We used to buy all kinds of fancy pens, t-shirts, you name it. They don't really have them where we live now...they have yard sales which are fun in their own way but not the same.
