I was just paroosing (not spelled right...) around mylot, and i found this tasks tab. I moused through a couple of them, and they sound pretty complicated. I also noticed that most of them give about 10 cents, so that can build up. I was just wondering, are they worth doing??

I definitely think they're worth doing. I earn most of my money on mylot through tasks. Do as many as you can when they're up and then just sit and wait for them to get accepted. I think I've got about $6 worth of tasks pending right now, so they definitely do add up, and once you get used to doing them then it takes next to no time to actually complete the regular ones. :)

It depends, really. The tasks that require you to post some text and a link usually take about 15 minutes. It takes about 2 minutes to actually do the task, but you have to wait for the post to show up, which usually takes around 5-10 minutes itself. So it's really easy work, as long as you've got time to wait for your post to show up and then post the link to it.
The one to answer the questions takes a bit longer. My first time, it took probably about 15 minutes or something like that. Once you get used to it, you can fly through it, though, because you know the instructions and you know what to look for. :) Now it never really takes me more than maybe 8 minutes to finish one of those and some take even less than that.

I think it's worth, because if you really know what the task creator really want, basically those tasks is pretty easy. I prefer research tasks, even just pay me $ 0,2 per task it doesn't require much time to complete, and usually my submitted tasks got accepted only by a day pending time. I don't really like writing tasks, because even its payment is high $ 2, but its pending time quite long, a week I think, and the task creator very strict about perfect result, if you're not a good writer I suggest don't waste your time doing it.

i went back to them again, and it just seems like too much work for only 10 cents. i also dont want to give my email out to so many websites, my email is already clogged up enough. i think ill stick with the discussions.

When tasks were first introduced here on myLot, there were quite a lot of tasks but only three types, one was editing images, one was writing articles and the third type was research.
As I am good at image editing I accepted 9 of these, my submissions were accepted and my account reflected the payment within 48 hours.
I havent actually done any tasks since then, but if the speed of acceptance and payment then are anything to go by, yes I think they are worth doing.
