Is Australia a safe place to travel??

With increase in number of racial attacks and Australian prime minister himself admitting that their governement has failed to provide security to foreigners visiting/ living in Australia, is Australia anymore a safe tourist destination??? Australian police failed miserably to maintain law and order. Position there is one cannot walk alone and if anyone does then some drug addict or some racists will attack you and take all your belongings. In my view instead of travelling to Australia, one can tour some European countries

If you are not Indian national it is a safe place to travel. Atrocities are only on Indians and not on other nationals. Even though Indian students are income to their country they are not caring for and minimum human respect is not observed by the Australians.

If they get used to these kind of things, it happens with other nationals too and as usual autralian govt and police will be a mere spectators

This type of cases happened in every single place. From my experiences, every year larger number of people visits Australia with their family and children. Now, its completely safe for solo travels too.
