i don't think it is a waste of time in mylot. you can make a lot of friend here. and study a lot. don't let your head so stupid. and you will earn some extra money. so it is better for you continual in here.

I like mylot because I use it for information. There is no better information than comments from other members. Each of them has a different outlook and need going on. Through different members I have gotten a lot of good recommendations on what is a scam and what it not. Without them, I would have wasted lots of time where I could have used my time more productively.

Yes, you're definitely right. We're here not just for money, but more importantly, for communicating with and learning from others. I almost forgot my initial intention of being here. Thank you for reminding me.

I can say for sure that I've been paying great attention to the quality of my posts. I'm not boasting. But sometimes things just work differently. Maybe it's because of this that I feel it's a waste of time here. It's like you devote much but get little reward.

You make an excellent point littlefranciscan! There are some very nice people on here. And I agree, it can be a nice place to unwind as well.

I do have met a lot of nice people here. That's why I'm still here even though I haven't got paid within a whole year. But sometimes it's something that makes you upset. We all need impetus to go on, and money is a kind of it.

I think you already near to the bottom limit, I saw you posted more than 400 it is close to the limit, I got receipt from myloter to post commet at least 8 lines and 10 times a day and also pictures will help your earning. Good luck, sie sie !

I've made some bucks recently, though not much. I expect my first payout this month. I hope I'll make it. Besides, you mentioned 8 lines comment. You mean we have to write at least 8 lines when commenting on others' responses? That's a tough job I'm afraid. To me, 3 or 4 lines of comment does not mean it is in poor quality, and 8 lines is by no means absolutely quality comment. I'm a little confused.

Not all of that earnings came from myLot though but it's from this site where I learned about those other paying sites where I also earned.

Yeah. That's one of the benefits of being here. We'll get to know which site pays and which site is a scam. So we don't have to waste our time on scams.

Yes, you're right. Lingering here does help to improve writing skills, espeically for non-native speakers.

I can see you fully enjoy yourself here. I'm working hard these days to reach payout. As you mentioned, I've also found that I can gain a lot of things here, like sharpening my writing skills, learning from others and keeping my mind active. I tried tasks but only to find they are not for me. I couldn't even open most of the link given. The worst is some high paid tasks only allow US citizens to participate. That's awful.

It's really a big surprise. I didn't expect my discussion to receive so much concern and I feel very happy for the warmth of so many mylotters. Before I posted this discussion, I felt upset with mylot and even thought of leaving; but so many kind responses help me realize the true fun of being here. We're here not just for money, there are more important things for us to pursue, such as the opportunity of communicating with and sharing with others their opinions, getting help from them and making nice friends here. Actually, I got little(only $0.40) from this discussion though it indeed received a huge number of responses. It's good to see you here, sarah.

It's indeed a huge task. It takes me almost an entire day to comment on these responses, and I haven't finished yet. But anyway, it's by no means a tiring thing to comment on each response cause I get to know what other people are thinking about on this issue. I should say thank all mylotters who respond to my discussion. It is them who make me understand the meaning of being here. And I should also be thankful to you for your telling me something about the evaluating system here. I've never known that comment on responses can help me earn. I used to think it useless.

Probably you haven't fully understood me:) You won't get paid from other's responses but you'll get paid from your every quality comment. You only get $0.40 from this discussion because you hanven't commented on all the responses (it must be a huge task:) do it as much as you like) By the way, have we met somewhere before? :)

Hmmm~~~Probably you're right. We'll never be better off from mylot. It's a place for sharing opinions as well as gettting a little reward from it. This is a fact that all of us should realize. I don't lack money cause I have a full-time job. So it'd be better that I consider posting on mylot as a way of relaxing.

Not to say there isn't a place for this. I'm sure in China where some earn less than the minimum wage of $2 a day, no doubt an extra $10 a week, or even a month would be a real boon. But here in a America for example, the smallest part time job will easily provide more money for less hours. Clearly there are better forums too. For example I can't respond to the person above me. This is to prevent two people for replying to each other constantly (like a real discussion) and racking up tons of money just between themselves. On my regular forum, I talk politics, quote research and documents, post links, post graphs and pictures citing my points. I have an avatar, and a signature of my favorite quote of one the founding fathers. Here I can do none of that, so I greatly prefer the other forum. Of course I don't earn any money there, which is too bad, I'd be earning at least a dollar a day.

You're right. If we expect to earn much here, it will surely be a very tiring thing. When I first came here and joined mylot, making money was the main purpose. I was holding the same view even two days ago. It sounds funny, right? But now, I've already changed my mind when the disussion I started received so much concern. Many mylotters just tell me that I should consider it a place of communicating with and sharing with others their opinons, and by saying that, they meant no harm. I really appreciate that.

Yes, after I read so many warm responses, I've realized the true meaning of being here. In fact, I'm always learning from others and learning a lot. It's just I hadn't realized it until yesterday when I posted this discussion. So many responses from mylotters help me understand that mylot is indeed a big and united family with memebers from all over the world.

Yeah, mylot is a place that requires efforts and dedication. As you said, it is not for everybody, esp. not for those whose purpose of being here is to make money. What they want is quick cash without making efforts. I do hope everyone here enjoy himself/herself and reach the target before long.

You joined mylot just 2 months ago and you've already got payout? wow, that's great. How could you make that? Sometimes I think it's impossible to reach payout in a short time even if I post as many as 20 to 30 discussions with quality per day. When I post discussions or reply to others' discussions, I think about my words carefully in order to make it qualified. But the point is I don't know how much I can make by posting or replying a discussion.

No-one except the admin knows exatly how much we earn. There is no need to start lots of discussions. You can spend the whole time responding and commenting and you will earn just the same or even more because if you post discussions that are not original they will not create interest. Worse still, if they are repeats they would be deleted. Do not give up hope. Find out what works best for you and good luck!
