300 40 --Question about my blog

As I've mentioned before here, I've made my blogs all about helping animals--and the Google Ads I have on my site are to earn money for my local Humane Society. I have had over 300 profile views on my blog, but only about 40 ad clicks! X.X And a lot of those are my sister! :( So I haven't reached my payout number, so I can't donate anything.
My question is, should I make a note directly in my blog, asking people to click the ads? Or is that somehow against Google Adsense guidelines, or just not good blogging etiquette? I don't have a clue! lol.

I guess you should not post a note on your blog. Earnign a descent amount in blogging is not that easy so stay patient.You will definitely be rewarded in due time.
