Mahendra Singh Dhoni, WHO at No.3
Why did he bat at No.3 in group stages against Bangladesh and Irland and not in super eights against West Indies and England?
When he came in at No.3,
Against Bangladesh the score was 59 for 1
Against Ireland the score was 77 for 1
But against West Indies and England when the first wicket fell, the score was 12 for 1 in both the games.
Which No.3 batsman feared coming in at that position when the openers fell cheaply?
Is Dhoni really a No.3 Batsman or a coward who wanted to get that elusive No.3 spot for every aspiring batsman cheaply?
Am i harsh on him? See for yourself.

Dhoni made it clear that he would not be coming at number 3 all the time. It was just an experiment to get himself into form. It was clear from the IPl that he was no where near his best, but unfortunately his plans did not work and probably disturbed all their strategies. BTW you posted this in the soccer section!

lol.. sorry for posting it here. Experimenting in a big tournament is not the way its done. He should have atleast given Raina a chance in the group stages itself for some match practice.
