If Tendulkar Has Replaced Sehwag In T20 Rather Than Pathetic Dinesh Kartik?

We are still not clear of the exact reason for the exclusion of Sehwag from the T20 squad. If he had been replaced by Tendulkar rather than Dinesh Kartik we wouldn't have crashed out of the tournament this early.
Why Kartik didn't make the actual squad in the first place? The reason he was not selected in the actual squad is that, Dhoni openly stated that he doesn't require a deputy for his place. Why he was later taken into the squad to replace an opener?
In the first place, is Dhoni a better keeper than Kartik? You already know the answer, if you had watched his keeping against England.
Indian Team is pathetic under the captaincy of Dhoni. Dhoni in this T20 tournament, is just a shadow of his past.

that would be just wishful thinking as tendulkar has said no to playing in the t20 matches. dhoni is a very good keeper although he let go a difficult chance against England. kartik is not perfect behind the wickets you never know when he might drop a catch. sehwag is injured so how does it matter what the exact reason is anyway. someone had to be taken in the team and kartik was the next in line to play in the world cup so he was selected.

weird pratik.as for keeping skills go,dhoni and karthik are on the same level and as for fielding skills go,karthik is way ahead of Dhoni which is unfair considering we dont get much to see dhoni as a fielder.
[b]if tendulkar said no to playing T20 cricket,What the heck is he doing in playing IPL? oh he must have thought IPL is a 50 over game and my dear friend who started this discussion,karthik was never given a chance ever since dhoni became captain.all it took is one bad series against pakistan where akthar got the better of him everytime and the next series he magically disappeared considering he was the highest run getter in the previous tour to england.
then that one test match against sri lanka..if a player gets a chance to play every 6 months or so and u expect him to score century,dont u think its a little unfair [/b]

stardust you act like you know everything what is happening in cricket but his shews how little you know and confirms my statement that all you do is sit and criticize. i am replying to the discussion about tendulkar playing in the world cup but tendulkar has said that he does not want to disturb the combination in the national t20 team as he has not played it from the start. as for the ipl he was involved with the mumbai indians from the start even though he missed out on few matches because of an injury.

if an experienced guy like sachin would have been there then he would have stabilised the batting in the middle and india would have done well.

I think Dhoni's keeping is also not that good as before. In the recent IPl Dinesh did well with his bat and that is why Dhoni is a little worried that people may love Karthick to do the keeping in place of Dhoni.
I am a great fan of Dhoni, but I am totally upset with his bad decisions. He still says that he batted well(what a joke)
He always wanted to remain not out than going for the win.
He is still not accepting his bad decisions. He should have sent Bajji before him. I am sure he would have tried to win the match for India.Too many bad decisions went against India. Jadeja must have gone for the runs rather than playing it safe.

First: Tendulkar Himself is not willing to play T20 Cricket.It is his choice.
Second: Karthik was replaced because dhoni had asked for a keeper-batsmen in team before this series began.But he did not fit in top 14 as there had to substitute batsmen and bowlers.So later on when there was need for someone to come in they got a batsmen in middle order and not for opening.
Third:Dhoni is a better keeper than Karthik.Just KEEPING not batting.
Fourth: Dhoni needs to have an aggressive attitude as he can be aggresive.He has just lost his hitting ability.He needs to get that back.It has to be an attitude change and play free cricket.
Fifth:Media and Team members like Jadeja are responsible for not executing things properly.
Sixth: Dhoni in currebt situation is the best captain Indian team has.
He made some mistakeswhich are to be forgiven but he deserves another chance.
