hello deepzholic! i'm glad to see that star on your name! its an achievement i think. when i first got mine it was a yellow star with 8, then after a week becomes red with 9 and i'm glad that just today it became blue with 10! just keep on posting quality stuffs and yes it really nice and more inspiring to see those stars! it adds color to our name! i just don't know if it has something to do with earnings...i am not very familiar with this... have a nice day!

No it have no more to spend in mylot ... so i have no star..

Hey buddy good to see that star of yours.......well when i got my first star it was 8 and then it went to 9 and then now it has come back to 8.........don't worry buddy these stars will fluctuate time and again.......keep posting quality stuff and you will be rewarded with higher star ratings, but take my work there are few people here who will give you negative for no reason and some of your discussions might get reported as well......so be ready for that......rest its fun....just have a great time here........their are so many good people around.......

Congrats for getting star. Well don't worry about star rating as it will go up and down and is not related to your earning i guess. Mine was 8 first then it became 9 hoping to get 10 now hehe. Keep posting and your star rating will also increase. Happy Mylotting.

I have been a member here for over 2 1/2 yrs. now, and I joined before the Star ratings became. I have always been a "10" and try hard to keep it this way doing the Best I can when I can and hoping for the Best as well. I think sometimes the Star thing can be over rated, but just continue to do your Best improving your thoughts and lengths of response, discussions, etc. as you go and Good things will come. After reaching 100, I get 6 stars. In growth was down to get 4 stars. You can see my star now. You can read the FAQ to learn how to act correctly, but the assessment to the members, is confidential.

hello! I just wanted to thank you for posting this discussion! I had no idea what the stars meant and didn't even noticed that I had one!

I started with a 4 star I think, and I had it up until last week, when it went to a 6, then the next day it jumped to an 8, and that is where it is at right now. I am happy with my star rating though, as it makes me feel good that users think enough of me to rate me positive. I rate all positives too. If I feel that a response isn't all that great, I won't give it a negative. I just don't rate it at all. I feel that as long as people are going to make the effort to respond to others discussions, that they deserve nothing less than a positive rating. Some people really don't like the ratings system. I have no prolems with it. I have problems with those that give negative ratings because they disagree with someone. I don't always agree with everyone, but I won't gie them a negative rating because they do. It is better not to give a rating than give a negative. That is my thinking anyway. I know the star mysteriously appears at 100! When I got my first star it was a 10, then it dropped to a 9 and has stayed there. I think it had to do with the number of responses I did about the time I hit 100 as it has not changed. I have no idea what would be good or bad ... I just noticed the star!

My first star was a 5, but today I noticed it was a 6. I still don't get what the numbers represent let alone the reputation that it states I have but I know it's a good thing. If I keep producing quality posts then I guess that number will increase but I will have to do a bit more research on it. Congratulations, on your star, I was happy when I got mine.
