I started to go to gym about 2 years ago. Now I try to make it a habit to go gym at least 3 times a week. Usually I will do 5-10k cardio, then followed by half an hour weight exercise. For the initial stage, you may sign up for a personal trainer. They will give up advice and provide you the proper guidance on doing exercise. After master it, you can do it on your own.

Well I am not a guy but I will share my view of this...:O) So the other day my bf and I went to look at the loal gym to ask about pricing right? Do you know how much it cost???? $399.00 to sign up and $15.00 per month !! And this is not even a big chain, its a random gym that only has 2 locations. Yes it was nice, in fact it had a lot of equipment and a very nice pool. The pool is what attracted my bf the most. They told him that if he signed up he could take the kids to the pool for free, and since we live in a very hot place and we have 3 little kids in the house he really wanted to sign up. But tell me, is it worht $399.00 plus $15.00 per month to be able to take out 3 little kiddies to the pool?????

I have been to a fitness centre before, I used to be a memer of it. I participated in the fitness centre for a while but since the memship fee was too expensive and I didn't have enough time to go so I stopped and do other exercises instaed.

When i was in high school and college I went to he gym. I have a elpitical machine and home now so I do that and free weights instead of going to the gym. I liked going to the gym. A gym membership is a good investment if you acutally go.

I go to the gym regularly. My workout includes a lot of cardio and some weight-lifting to firm up my muscles. I run for at least an hour and I try to outrun myself each time. Hahaha. My day seems to be incomplete if I am not able to workout.

I go to the gym four times a week, I do about 2-2.5 hours training, I have a training regime which I have adapted for myself in that I do cardiovascular exercises as well as lifting weights, I combine the two to make it more enjoyable. I take my Ipod with me because listening to music whilst training gives you incentive. I have been going to the gym for quite some time now. I suffer with depression and going to the gym helps my depression. I don't find gyms friendly and they are not best places to make friends but if you are serious and want to exercise or build muscle there are trainers there to help you or if you want to go with a friend or go alone. Find a routine that works for you. Also your eating habits affect your performance as well, It can be confusing as well, it depends on your goal. I want to have abs which is very hard work and it can be frustrating because you have to be patient. Good luck and I hope you achieve what you set out to achieve.
