Is your country getting to the FIFA World Cup 2010?

Well, I a bit too late answering this question but it doesn't matter as my country India got knocked out even before you posted the question. It is disappointing here in India for us football fans as the game is not getting its due credit as cricket always hogs the limelight. But at the same time, I'm pretty confident that with a good manager as the one we have right now and a little more luck, India will be able to get into the group phases of qualification next time and maybe even the world cup in 2018.

Do have a soft spot for Finland being a Liverpool fan, and would have loved to have seen Sammi Hyppia at the finals. Would hope that England will be there, just a few more points and we are there. believe we can actually afford to lose against Croatia and Ukraine as long as we beat Belarus. As for going to South Africa am actually quite put off by the fact that don't consider it to be that safe a place to visit.

Right now we're not close enough to get there, but there is still hope. If switzerland will lose points then there might be a chance to get to the second place. but time will tell..
