Did you ever win prizes during your schooling?

Oh how can I forget those glorious moments of my childhood days in school. I used to lead teams like cricket and football. Played badminton and won laurels for the school and not to forget loads of prizes, including trophies and cups, mementos and medals all decorated in our large drawing room! Still those memories haunt me!

Yes, I actually won a spelling bee in 8th grade that was held in front of the whole school and our parents....and it wasn't just spelling the word, we had to break it down by syllables. I won a Whopping $5.00!! But back then, 5.00 was like winning a 100.00 today.

The only prize that I can remember winning - and I still have it, is a book of animals A-Z, which I won as a prize in an art competion when I was six! You must be very proud of all your trophies and cups.

Wow man!! You are a sportsperson..!!
Well, for me, I have won many certificates in academics and once in sports.
Then, I won in many technical events, though I don't have a room brimming with trophies as yours..

The only things I remember winning during my school careers (grade and high schools) were a copy of Backyard Baseball 2003 (for a raffle I entered), and three trophies (Oscar-esque awards) for my high school performances in "Fiddler on the Roof", "Annie", and "Mame". (It wasn't really a contest; all of us got the commemorative statues.)

any prize i have won in my school.....let me think.......yes the only prize that i have won during my school was a 8th standard...i had won second prize in our school's annual science exhibition....i and my partner had made a laser...yes basically it was not laser it was how a laser is produced.....and how is it reflected.....and that is only prize i have won......

I played softball and volleyball and I got awards for that. Also the last day of school when I was in elementary school we use to play games and everyone would get a ribbon for something.
