I can understand you perfectly because there are times when my partner wants to make love and I am still having my menses so he is a bit sad but he understands nature too and he helps me in my tasks and sometimes it is funny but he counts the days when I will stop be having it and tell me that we would make love on that date. Once he even told me that he has counted the dates and he found out that on his birthday I am going to have my menses, we laughed but I was also happy that he is interested in that and understands me fully. We have made love once when I was having my menses and then we decided that we won't be having it again because it is not hygienic at all. So we just wait and everything is okay.

May be it is boring for men but women suffers a lot during the cycles. It is painful and I don't think it is a good idea to make love at that time by using towels and tissues to clean after you are done with that. Help her in her house hold things and make yourself busy so you do not get bored.
