How to make money with traffic exchange sites?

I am the member of some traffic exchange sites and I will promote my PTC sites as I am not having any blog or website. I am getting some referrals very occasionally by doing so and my main aim is making money from the traffic exchanges other than promoting our site.But the earnings from such sites are too low like 20-30 per 1000 page views .But I am able to see some ads stating the money making process from the traffic exchanges. How to make reasonable money with the TEs?

I made 10$ in one of the Traffic Exchanges I use in less than 1 week, without commisions on referrals, just for surfing and be active everyday there. They Pay monthly and the minimum is 10$. Its also called a surf for cash site, and you can win in weekly surfing too. Proof ? Just check my blog on my profile. Now I have $20+ in my account and waiting for this 23rd to request a payout. Also the admin there is very generous.

Earning $10.00 from a single site within a week is amazing one. As I am not good at getting referrals, I have to depend only on my page views.Let me give it a try for at least a month or single payout.But from the FAQ, nothing can be able to know about the payments or cash bonus for the page views in this site. Most of the traffic exchange sites are not giving these details except one or two TEs.Thanks for the information and for your response.

I'm just really getting into TE's. At first I thought it was just a waste of time, however I'm hearing that many people are getting some great results. Looks like the main key to making TEs work for you is by using a captivating SqueezePage or SlashPage -- and by marketing the type of products that appeals to this type of market, which is mainly traffic programs, money-making opportunities, internet marketing tools and the like.
