Mine are always in bed by 7pm at the very latest. I have 2 and 3 year old boys and because there is only 11 and a half months between them there has always had to be a very set routine in place. My eldest goes to nursery in an afternoon and the youngest has a sleep 1 til 2.30 and then on school nights they go up by 6.30 or they turn into horrors!!
What is your bedtime routine?

my 13 year old nephew is staying with us so that he can stay out of trouble this summer. (that is the easy part, our house is boring all there is to do is work with me or my husband or read).
At his house we have been told that he never goes to bed at a decent hour even during school. That does not fly with this aunt (I am in bed most nights at 9) He is gettting to stay up until 11 every night except saturday. On saturday night he can stay up as late as he wants.
The catch is that no matter what time he goes to bed when he is told to wake up then he has to get up and get dressed and be ready for the day.
The past two weeks we have noticed that he has been going to bed earlyer than his lights out time beccuase he has caught on to the fact that we mean businees when it is time to get up.
During the school year, if he is still with us and not at home, it will be 9 pm at the latest with saturdays staying the same: as late as he wants.

My children are 4,5 and 6. They go to bed at 7:30pm on school nights. Then on weekends their bed time is about 8:30pm. During the summer time there really isn't much of a routine. We are usually outside until it's dark out. They go to bed no later the 10pm during the summer. It just depends on what is going on. They usually get up around 7am which isnt too bad but if they start acting up throughout the day then bed time is usually around 7:30pm regardless of what day it is.

I have 3 children at home out of 8. The adults are on their own so I dont have to worry about getting them to bed! lol
At home we have a 16, 14 and 2 year old. The 14 year old has always been responsible when it comes to bedtime. When he gets tired he goes to bed, during school it is normally around 9 or so. Since school is out he stays up later.
The 16 year old is totally different, she could drive me nuts. I go to bed normally by 11. She is never ready by then so I will tell her she can go to bed at midnight or so. There has been nights that I have caught her up at 3 am and then I kick her to bed.
The one thing is thou, no matter what time you decide to go to bed here, when I wake up and the 2 year old gets up, the older ones know they are up and dressed and ready for the day. Which isnt always the easiest days, as we heat by wood only, have a garden, ect., They know that we work.
The 2 year old has been going to bed just a little later lately, not sure why. She goes usually by 10 thou and is up around 9 in the morning. She is one that is ready to run when her feet hit the floor. LOL!

My three year old goes to sleep at 8:30. Every once in a while something changes it a half hour or so, but for the most part it's right around there. She never gets grumpy unless something completely changes her schedule. She believes sleep is for night time and since it's summer she refuses to go to sleep until it's getting dark outside. She's got the idea, but it changes her schedule whenever the weather changes.

During the school year ours are in bed by 8. They are 6 and 4. This coming year one goes to first grade and the other one starts preschool. It is a full day preschool 4 days a week. We keep pretty strict to that bedtime because I can tell a difference when she would come home from kindergarten and not had enough sleep the night before. Our youngest isn't at that stage yet where you can just put him in bed and he stays there. But he usually falls asleep by 8:30 or 9 anyway. Now that it is summer time we have slid their bedtime back till 9.

My kids are 18 and 22, so I guess they do plan their own bedtimes now. But when they were small I made shore they woud be in bed before 21:00. Kids need at least 8 hours sleep to be able to cope with daily routines. My son have the disorder of ADHD, so he takes medication during daytime, and medication for nighttime. If he do not follow those routines he could stay up 24 hours a day.But since my son now is of age, he take care of that him self. And he do it pretty well.

My childrens bed time is 8pm. I try my best to get them both to bed at that time. Its not always easy. Last night I had a track walk group so my daughter got a bath before bed but I skipped my sons bath so I could get him to bed on time. He wouldnt go to bed anyway so I had to hold him for a half hour after I got my daughter to bed. If we are out shopping I usually leave at 7 so they fall asleep on the way home and go right to bed when we are home. A lot of peoples kids that I know if they fall asleep in the car will stay up for along time after that as if it was just a nap they took. My kids don't usually take naps unless they fall asleep in the car on the way to shopping. If they took naps during the day they might not go to bed at 8 it would just depend on how tired they were.

i have three kids ages 13, 8 and 2.
during sundays till thursdays my two kids who's going to school should be asleep at 9 or 10 in the evening, they go to school at 6.30 in the morning and i wake them up 5.30. during fridays-saturdays they are allowed to stay up late and play computer as long as they like.
my 2 year old dont have routine really, he just sleeps when he likes sleeping. sometimes he sleeps at 9 in the evening and would wake up at 12pm. sometimes he would wake up early in the morning, and then sleeps again at 10 am, to wake up at 2 or 3 pm.
