I drink a diet coke a day and I am trying to cut back. I know I should drink less because if I dont I get a headache so that tells me I am addicted. I will eventualy cut back and save the money. I will not give up my hair conditioner or face lotion though. I refuse to be uncomfortable and stressed at feeling not right. I will try to find it on sale but I will not give it up unless I am forced.
What will you not give up?

My husband won't give up direct tv and weekly eating out. I won't give up the internet. I don't know how long we can keep not giving up these three things.

My Hubby wants to sign up for Direct tv but I dont want the bill. Our local cable company just sold its self to comcast and our bill was only $38 a month for internet and cable. We cant find anything close to that. We will be paying at least $100 for the two to get what we had. It stresses me out.

DSL, I think that is my one thing that would be the last thing I would give up right up till food/water (and of course electricity, because DSL and a computer is kind of useless without electricity)

Our Dsl company is changing and we are looking for a new company. We will probibly be without Dsl for a few days and I am dreading it. I cant imagine how I will be able to get by. I know in the past we have gone with out the internet but it is such a part of my life now. This causes me stress.

Gardening is such a great hobby. I am trying to get better at it. I think that if I were better at it I could almost grow 90% of our groceries. That would save us a ton. Right now I have tomatoes, strawberries and raspberries. All the other plants are struggling and may never make it.

I keep my computer working but I cant keep up with technology. As soon as I feel like I have a great top notch computer the new ones come out that make mine look ancient again. As long as it works for me Im happy. Working is a must!

I have just started to make my own cards. I am finding that it is better if I make them when I am in the mood to create things rather then when I need a card. I watch for sales on the supplies and stock up when the price is right. Chocolate is one of those things I am thinking I need to quit with diet coke.

I would have a very hard time giving up my pc (well if i gave up pcs id have to get a new job!) and I've been trying to give up dr pepper but it so isnt working. I find that rather than going out and buying the one 591ml bottle I buy a case of 12 cans and that saves me money because buying 2.5 591 ml bottles is the same price these days as a case of 12 cans.

I could give up my computer if people would let me not pay bills, but since that isnt going to happen I agree. I need My PC.

Hi Happythoughts, besides the basic essentials like hair and facial products, the one luxury that I just won't give up is books. I love books, and whenever there is a sale, I will be there. Anyway, I try to save, by only buying books that are bargains (like 70% and more off), or used books.

I love going through the bargan racks at barnes and noble. There are so many great things to read about. I really love the way books take you away to a new place. Thank you.
