Why Are People So Negative About Making A Living Online?

I have seen so many people posting you can't make enough money online to live on. They mostly refer to GTPs, PTCs and myLot as the examples. Well, they are right with those examples you can't make a living because they pay pennies. How can you even expect to make a living from them. There are other things to do online that you can actually make a living from. Look around you. There are lots of people doing and most started from where you are now. You can't do anything if you have a negative attitude.

I think there are a lot of killjoy types in this world (a person who spoils the pleasure of others), and they don't like the idea of someone actually succeeding in something that they're not capable of. Probably a lot of jealousy in them. I for one know nothing about making a living online, but for those who can, I say more power to them. Especially these days.

I think most people think that making money online should be easy, but it's really hard work until you get it going.

I think any extra money is good money. I'm not complaining, but if I were to quit my full time job and focus on online earnings, it will take quite a long time, and I don't have the luxury of time as well as bills will start piling up for me. I think this is a wonderful experiment for people having lots of free time, and can slowly build up their online earnings down-line. Perhaps when I really have the proper income to cash on without my full time job will I be able to experiment fully.

I agree any money made is good money, but I'm talking about people with the negative attitude that you can't make a living online when there is obviously people doing. I'm not one yet, but I plan to be because the people doing it came from where I am now.

Well said zed! A few extra dollars for a bit of fun is great and once we get the hang of it only then can we think about doing it full-time. Keeping it as a hobby is great to start with!

Hello artguy. I get what you mean there. I'm reminded of a particular blogger John Chow Dot Com or some sort. His blog is awesome and he has lots of fans too. He has created this special e-book that he provides for others. I think it's really possible. And another guy on affiliate whom has made quite a lot. I think this all boils down to great effort, good strategy and a bit of luck. So all the best to you...

Too many people jump online thinking it's easy, don't read the small print and then give up because they are not earning and then label everything as a 'scam'. Negative things get listened too the most these days so it becomes the loudest voice that gets heard. You are right that with a positive attitude and not expecting huge results from the start it can be done

You make a very good point, I add to my income through Mylot but it is defniately not my first source on any income. It is through my own online business that I make enough money to make a living, that required my own hard graft to create the items for sale and the website itself. You cannot expect to make money online without at least some effort.

But, also............I think you need to consider all of the scam "making money" sites you see. There ARE a few good, legit sites, to earn a few extra bucks. ..so, I can see why people would be cautious and have a negative attitude with on-line 'money makers'.

I agree that working online can be very lucrative especially if you are patient and you work really hard. I'm guessing the reason why some people are negative about it is because when you work online, you do not have a stable income. you can earn from as low as $10 a month to as high as thousands of dollars. another thing is that most people think working online equates fast and easy money, they try it once and then when they dont get the amount they think they were gonna get, they quit right away. what they fail to realize is that working online entails a lot of time and effort and patience.

I think most people just arent that modernized yet. My mom thinks it's just a waste of time mostly because she believes in an old fashioned clock-in clock-out job. I think if you're willing to try and put in the time then you should be rewarded for it and that's what the internet does. It's my time to spend how I want to spend. Plus people are making money going onto a job site and using the internet so why not just use the internet at home instead of going into a building.

You are right. We have been so brain washed to believe that going to work for someone else is a real job and most people can't seem to override that.

Absolutely true. It is as possible to earn on-line as it is off-line. I wish I were internet marketer too like Ewen Chia, Paul Birdsall, Rachel Long, and many others who are making millions online. Some get rich in blogging but of course it's all about affiliate marketing. People are negative because they haven't really seen the whole world of making money online. Like you said, they only know of sites that pay pennies but if you got the right skill and you know where to look there are lots of precious gems on the internet that can help one make a decent living.

Even if you manage to make a living online, many people still won't respect you because they don't consider it a real job no matter how much time you spend doing it.

Hi, You made a great point. I think we have to have faith and belief in something in order to gain success from it. I am also a beginner in earning money online and I am just earning pennies now. I believe one can make a living online as there are real- life examples of people who are successful through Internet.

i dont want to be so negative especially when its about earning. ( online or offline). i really believe that if someone is so negative, his or her transactions will have negative results too. About my online earning, i know there are a lot of scam site. But i still tried to find legit ones. I found online, i received my first payment and i was so happy with it. Happy mylotting and smile always!

people are so negative about making money online simply because they don't want to work and they want to make money for free, that is not possible, making money online may not bring as much money as desired but it can be used to compliment a regular job, it is a flexible thing one can do it at any time and any hour of the day

I think that some people are so negative about making money online because number one how many jobs online can you actually atart without having to pay a fee. Then I think another reason is even if you don't trip about paying a fee how many ok these work at home jobs will actually pay you money like a regular job?

I do not have any negative attitudes toward online business. You can make a living online. A lot of people are earning handsome five digit income online. I think that the problem here is that a lot of people really do not know what type of online business they should engage in to earn money.

money - money and a piggy bank
I think maybe because it seems so easy or just because it's so unusual. But....I don't think the availability of online jobs are going to be around forever. It seems like a lot of people are jumping on board. For now, it's something nice to have around. I've had a couple websites through the years that I've made actual money from, and I liked it. Even if the online sites don't pay you a million dollars, it's still money. I don't think it should be put down as much as it is.

There will always be people online looking for stuff and needing things so you will always be able to make money from them. Make your own opportunity that way you don'r have to depend on others for their opportunity.

I agree, why do they complain. They should know making money on line is not a get rich scheme. I have not gotten rich and do not expect to quit my job for this. I just make enough to buy small gifts for the kids, and extra money for Christmas Last year I made $600, so it was good for paying the tax bill I got later on

Hey, Well I don't really know why, but one reason may be because they don't really make much money online and they think that most of the sites are scams. Well, that is partly true, but you need to also find legit sites. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I know its not easy to earn through online. It need work and persistence and of course some investment. People have been told it easy and once they tried it and din't make it as they wanted it, they give up and become more sceptical. I think earning online is not for everyone but to earn extra a few bucks I do feel it possible, it just need to continuous learn, and learn.
