we have been watching 20-20 for a long time and indian team was playing at their best for a long time but this world cup 20-20 have brought serious questions for the indian team i think west indies studied indian players closely and found that they are really helpless with the short bowling, which we are it happened a long time back as well england followed the same thing and they were sucessfull too i think india has always been helpless with the short bowling ,our players are handy with the cut nad glides but lack the proper hook shots and really dont follow the short bowling i this this was the main reason for the demise of the team for this 20-20 world cup

I don't think that Indians alone are unable to handle short balls. All would struggle to handle such deliveries. The Indian fielding, Dhoni's wrong decisions, lethargic batting -all these factors got the Indians out of the tournament. What I could not tolerate was Dhoni never tried to charge the bowling even if the asking rate was more than 9. He was simply trying to play defending his wicket. He thinks people will be happy with his statistics, no people are very clever now. They knew Dhoni's blunders. If he can't hit the ball hard,he should have let Bhajji do it. I have never seen such type of meaningless defensive batting with any other country or with any other player. Dhoni is not fit to play T20. Lastly I am a mad fan of Dhoni, but I have to tell the facts too.

Yes, yet another poor show from him just now against south africa. He should accept his flaws and should quit playing T20 games. I now have a doubt whether he would suit even one day matches. I am sure he would fit in test matches.

They are in very bad situation. Initially they thought they are king of world in T20. Nobody can beat them. they got it so wrong and lost all hopes.

thanks for the comment, but to be honest ,i felt they were always in tough situation since world cup started. top order was really struggling with the bat and fearless opener was not there as well to protect the top order. Indian team really crumble like anything with the short bowling. in recent post i also read that too mush of fatigue with the Indian premier league ,and other tournaments made Indian team a bit tired, and they lost concentration due to which we lost so easily.

Yes!These youngsters lacked the ability to HIT the short ball in T20 where every ball was needed to be scored of.Some experienced players like sachin need to teach these youngsters how to concentrate so that they can pick the length early. Most India batters have good hand-eye co-ordination which helps them play big shots. So they play well even if they do not pick length early. But with good bowling they were troubled. I think apart from Indian team And Dhoni England and west Indian bowlers needs to be praised for their superb bowling skills.

The Indian team got overconfidence. The short pitch balls they could have practiced it. The neglecting mind set and the lack unity is the biggest problem for team India. When media people asked about practice sessions, the Captain and Vice Captain gave arrogance answer. Without net practice how we player perform properly?. Even after twenty years of experience in interenational cricket Sachin never behaved like that. Every match he takes seriously and he will practice to the conditions.

Yes, Indian team has always been suspect against short stuff bowling ; and especially on pitches with some reasonable bounce . It used to be the case till few years and only in recent years has the Indian Team begin to win matches in Australia , NewZealand etc on bouncier pitches. Still ; some difficulties do remain and need to be improved quite a lot . Regards
