how to be in love when you're single?????

love is a mysterious thing, they said! i believe in this..love is very profound. its hard to explain and understand..but it gives you a feeling of breathlessness especially if you are still with the person you love.. but what if the relationship didnt work out.??what if you were left alone with a broken heart???falling in love is a risk..sometimes it works but most of the time it sucks! being single should be a better way of avoiding being hurt but it will be an empty life, right??well, i am single and though i have a son i will be a hypocrite if i said i dont want to fall in love again. but for me it is a choice..a choice not to go through the pain again,,choice to enjoy life with my son,,choice to be alone...but i could say that i am contented and yes., happy!!!people should not depend on the feeling of being in love to another person. what i mean is you can still feel the wonderful feeling of being in love even without a partner...you just have to be creative and look beyond the deeper meaning of being in love.... as a single parent, its hard to go through life withour somebody to talk to, share the problems with, someone to give you a hug and tell you its ok..but then you have to live with it and find ways to fill that void.. i love reading romance books, short articles about love and i write stories and poems.. i have a collection of these. when i have problems and dont want to face it yet or when i need a break, i start reading somehow it uplifts my mood..then when i want that feeling of being in love i read my poems aloud and pretend that i am feeling the meaning of it,,,afterwards i feel like i am bursting with happiness of getting that old feeling... yes i know its kinda funny but you see for me it works..what im trying to share to those singles out there is that we can still capture the feeling of being in love even without someone..all you have to do is accept that the person meant for you is not yet around..find ways or things that will make you happy and focus on that... just capture that feeling of being in love just like before and hold on to it as long as you can and believe me you will feel your heart bursting with love....
