I am already 40+.I have started checking blood sugar on a regular interval.
So far it is found to be within normal range.Still i have reduced consuming
sugar/sweet products. Prevention is better than cure and diabetes is not
curable. However, sometimes situation arises when you cannot deny taking the dish
or certain items even if you know it is sugar loaded. Such situations increase the
importance of controlling sweet/sugar items in normal day to day eating habit.
This is my stand on it- my motto-average on the enjoyment over a longer period of time to keep away hardship than to consolidate the enjoyment on a short period then to give it up it for whole future days.
So, what is your take on it?Do you keep a tab on the matter of sugar consumption?
Start it now. Thanks!

I am not much for having a lot of sugar in any thing. I really have never had much of a sweet tooth. I only drink one cup of coffee once in a while and have less than a spoon full of sugar in it. I don't even put sugar on my cols cereal but i do put brown sugar on my hot oatmeal. Diabetes isn't
caused by sugar consumption. Science really hasn't found the cause yet. There is the thought that some people are predisposed to getting it.

I consume a lot of sugar, not only me everybody in my family. I am 26 years old now I really want to come out of it. I have atleast 4 coffees in one day with lots of sugar and also I take sugar along with breakfast food. I am planning to reduce the number of coffees. All my friends know that I consume a lot of sugar; they advised me a lot of times to reduce the amout of sugar consumption.
