From now on do you think India will come anywhere in 2011 WC?

What can be India's probable performance in 50-50 WC in 2011? From now on? They have played dismal in the t20 WC. I have seen when they start losing, they do so for long.I think at most they can reach second stage of games in WC 2011. Like here super 8. Not beyond that. But if they play more dismal, may get away from preliminary rounds.

Does it mean India shouldn't lose at all? Other teams are their just to lose it India?
We must remember one thing even the great Don Bradman got out for a duck in his last innings. Do you think he was useless or incapable?
Dhoni has such a great success that now fans can't seem to digest a single failure from him!
Well, only sportsmen understand that things can go wrong at anytime. That is why Greame Smith expressed his sorry feelings for Dhoni.
And we have to remember how Laxman and Dravid made Australia look foolish by playing some great knocks in that famous Kolkata test. That doesn't mean Australia were weak in bowling or they didn't try to win!
Sometimes whatever you plan goes wrong. Just that happened. Give 10 games to India and England or any other team and watch. India come out stronger!
We mustn't put unnecessary pressure on players by asking them to explain every single defeat they have. For God sake, opposition also have fans and they too have to answer them so they will do everything to beat India.
Let Indian players take rest and rejuvenate and see how they blossom.

well. Greame Smith will tell all pain balms as they are through and in very good position to win the Cup.Its very dismal performance by India. they played worse when it mattered most. They beat Pakistan in the charity match chasing 158, by 8 wickets,. They can't chase 153 by England which mattered most. It is not acceptable. They are doing this repeatedly with WI. let us kep on draeming India will blossom.

Hey,
If you want to die die like a hero not like a cowered. Just reflect what Dhoni did that day. Defeat and win are part of the game but there is a process of getting defeated. The WI too played in much pressure yesterday and they defeated the surging England. Where you Dhoni had got lost that day. That Dhoni is nothing but a glittering stone and the glitter is gone. It was mere a fluke.

I agree but you can't be always correct. Show me one single persone who has never done a mistake in his life. Dhoni did make mistakes but it is not as if nobody does. He expected his plans to work out but they didn't. Do you think India won convincingly last time?
Pakistan's 'Misbah' played a unnecessary shot. Otherwise Pakistan would have won easily if they stayed till the last ball by playing simple straight shots. Would you have forgiven if Dhoni had played such a shot and cost India the cup?
No one wants to lose. Dhoni would have loved to keep the cup. His ideas didn't work this time.
Show me one bowler in our team who can rip apart the stumps like the bowlers in other teams does? Malinga, Gul etc.
Why Dhoni responsible if Harbhajan bowls wides and good fielder like Yuvraj can't stop the ball and let it go for a boundary?
He did mistakes there is no doubt. But can you guarantee no other captain will ever make any mistakes? And can you guarantee India will never lose shamefully again if you remove Dhoni?

Hi subha,
India is a great Cricket Team. And surely the 2011 cup would be pocketed by Dhoni and his ablest men.
Team India is a paper lion. But when actual situation arises they are worse than a rabbit. Just look the WI. Last night with equal pressure that India was could manage to defeat England.
Its disgusting.

Indian players have also won outside India lots of times much more than other Asian teams like pak and srilanka .The last T20 India won was also outside India in south africa. India also won their 50-50 world cup outside India in england.
you should study before you post discussions.

What did West Indies in the series against England before the World T20? They failed miserably!
When did the last time West Indies won any World title or a major trophy? Now their players are firing because no one expected them to play like that and so they are playing without pressure.
Give them the toast of Indian fans frenzy and insane expectations every time they walk out to play and adding to that irresponsible media scrutiny. They will suffer too.
What did media achieve by creating such a drama over Sehwag issue? They just disturbed team.

Well Certainly no one can tell who will be out in which round but Dhoni needs to clear his mind and play good cricket himself. He has to be fearless and aggresive in batting and captaincy.Indian team needs to be more competitive in attitude.
This T20 showed the importance of sehwag and sachin's importance in sr=trategy making.
India should have practised Short ball before england match.

You are just getting emotional . There are still two years before the 2011 world cup and it is not T20 so you cannot say what will happen then. Indian team will surely bounce back much before that.

If they get some rest then they will have lots of 'honeymoons' in the coming future.
