A Lucky Escape for Dyno

We saw the most amazing story on the national TV news last night. When a four year old boy saw that one of the week old cocker spaniel puppies was a bit dirty, he decide to wash him in the toilet, so he flushed it and the puppy went with the water. The little boy screamed for his mother, who lifted the cover of a drain in the garden and heard the puppy crying. She called the fire brigade, and the RSPCA were involved. Then they called in a Dyno Rod plumber who found the little dog with his camera equipment. This was then used to push him to a spot beneath a manhole cover where the firemen could get him out. The poor little thing was in there for four hours, but the TV cameras filmed him once he was dry and spruced up with the rest of his family, looking quite normal and as if he'd forgotten all about it. He's now called Dyno after his most important rescuer.

Hi jakill, I saw that on the news but \i was very angry with the mother for not keeping an eye out, she shuld never leave a puppy with those kids alone, thank goodnes the little puppy was safe and now he should be kept away fro those boys. Tamara

Do you know, Tamara, I never thought of that? But you're absolutely right.

It never ceases to amaze what children will think of. This small boy knew the source of water nearest his level and his reasoning was great up to the flush, then he got much more than he wished for, not just the dirty water was gone. I wonder how much trouble him Mom will have getting him to flush now? Bet that's one dog that won't drink out of the toilet see some good comes from everything.
