Symonds missed a team meeting in Aug 2008 to go fishing. On Oct 2008, he also missed Australian tour to India as a part of his misdemeanor. He was also involved in an incident in a Brisbane pub on Nov 2008 and was cleared by Cricket Australia.
In Jan 2009, Symonds called McCullum a "lump of s**t", and said that having dinner atthe home of teammate Hayden was enjoyable because he could glance at Hayden's wife. He was fined and barred from selection for a period of time for his comments, until he was deemed to have been successfully rehabilated.
Even with all these excuses, he didn't stop and finally the devil smiled at him during the ongoing World T20 tournament when he was sent home, following a late night drinking episode after a team dinner.
Finally his contract with Cricket Australia was cancelled marking the end of Symond's international cricket career.
What would he be probably doing right now in Australia? My opinion would be head scratching and tree climbing.

So in more simple terms you are calling him a monkey. Why dont you just say that he is not going to come here on mylot and call you a racist. I had read the comment he made about mccullum but not about the one about having dinner with hayden and his wife. That woul have affected their relation i guess. There are very few people symo has not called something or the other. I do not think he has to worry about anything as he would have a lot of offers lined up from the english county circuit as he no longer plays international cricket. Plus he has another year left in his contract with the deccan chargers. So what is he doing right now? Enjoying some free time i guess and going fishing everyday.
