Pet Training 101... HELP!

We just got a black cute puppy named Pam-Pam. everybody treats her like a baby here. The only problem is that she pees inside the house and bites almost everything, even me! I just want her to learn the basics like sit, roll over, fetch, those stuff. And I want her to behave because she's so hyper and all. It's just so hard to train her. I know this will really take a lot of time, but I don't know where to start. How did you train your pet? Do you have some techniques you can share how you did it? How long before your pet was able to follow your command?
